See how I restored it
Good evening dear friends! Today I want to show you how to restore a hand watch, after its original straps are damaged !
With a strap of those that at the time were fashionable and were used on the hips, a tinder and some silver tool to remove the fasteners that brings the watch strap! In my case a pocket knife ! And we are ready!
With a flat part of this knife and with great care I took out the strap fasteners that comes with the watch
Then I disassembled the strap that I used on my hips to make use of the braids!
I took some braids to the size of my wrist and fastened them with the fastener that comes with the watch.
With other braids of 1 mtr long I tied a knot on top of the braid that is fastened with the fastener!
Then the braid or thread left on the left side I cross it to the right side.
And the thread that was left on the right side I cross it to the left like this
I tighten the fabric so that it looks like this! I repeat the process on the other side until I reach the end!
It looks like this
With the braids that are loose we cross them like this to close the watch and with another little piece of thread we weave the same weave as explained above !
This is what our watch that we almost gave up for lost looks like !!!!
Thanks for reading me until a new post !!!!
