It was so much fun to read them and we truly appreciate the work that each of you have put in to teasing us.
We are delighted to read that this contest inspired some of you to pick up projects that were left untouched for some time, and for some of you, it was your first time trying out the project.

It was a stunning sneak peek detail of her character's pants and shoes. A week later, @irenenavarroart revealed something even more stunning, from head to toe, inside out. She not only shares the background of the character she made and the significance of his outfit, it was also her personal story of why she personally appreciated this late star.
From the the littlest details of his fingers and embroidering the stripes for his shirt, to the details on his tie to make an exact replica, the makeup and expression in his eyes and even down to the haircut and color - it was an amazing work of art that moved us.

The teaser started with a lovely dedication to new users of HIVE. @creacioneslelys showed how she worked a cute little bee as the main character but she ended with a preview of the setting of more that was to come. True enough, on the day of the reveal, it was a sweeter story of patience and perseverance. The detail of every bee and every part of the theatrical setting are simply amazing.

@bunnysneedle hinted that an orange tone will stand out the most with a potential use of a variety of threads, yarns and stitches, and that the embroidery will have lots and lots of details. When the reveal came, it was beautifully stunning! The level of detail and the elaborate work of filling each part of the embroidery showed the amount of love and care she has for the character, and for her work.

It seemed like a cheerful character, an unsewn cut out felt fabric posing over her laptop. @ayleenr gave little hints that it was going to be a doll, and a character we may already know. What came after that was a pleasant surprise as she creatively worked her first fabric doll with details from the smallest freckles on her face to the hair that resembles the very person we all know and love in this community :)

It was going to be a very special project, a love project, @jicrochet teased. It was to be a birthday present for her loved one who shared a video with her a few months ago. Her yarn choices proved to be a challenge but she kept trying her best with what she had in stock. The reveal was indeed a beautiful love story, accompanied by the video surrounding her characters. She used no pattern and crocheted based on what she sees in the video. It is a beautiful love story that melts our hearts. We LAVA it!

There it was, a bunch of scrap materials and lots of fancy buttons. She playfully teased us with Superman colors and what it was to be of a smiley face but wasn't. What it turned out to be, was a fun photoshoot of her Barbie doll as a character in a Super Mario Bros game, complete with a quick history and background story of the game's plot. She wittily added cute little props with an enterprisingly drawn and painted background by her sister. It was truly fun and entertaining to read.

She told us it was going to be pinky. She showed us the paper patterns and templates plus the felt materials she was going to use. @devyleona went on to tease us that it was going to be something cute. But we sure didn't expect to see a cute pink pig of a sewing case, immaculately handsewn and finished with a cute tail.

@jurich60 gave us clues during the teaser week. She mentioned it was a repair. She showed us a bright red granny square, a pattern drawn on a piece of paper in the background and the sturdy yarn that was used. Little did we know what it was for. When it was revealed, it was a brilliant use of a granny square! A cutely refurbished folding chair, all set to relax its owners!

We were presented with a collection of brightly colored yarns at first, mixed and matched to form multiple granny squares. It triggered our curiosity yet they looked familiar. But when @blezyn revealed her project, we were surprised with a fashionably stylish, fun and colorful granny squares overall dress.

@karenconk teased us with her sewing progress and the choice of fabric she was using with buttons recycled from an old blouse. We knew she was making a sleeveless top for her litte one based on the pattern she drew but we didn't expect how cute and adorable the little dress would look on her little model! The dress is beautiful and we love the candid shots of her little model.

@chacald.dcymt hinted it was going to be a little something for her little one who was turning one soon. It was a play of materials with polka dots. She made it just in time for the submission but it was after much challenges throughout the week. We applaud her strength and courage to keep going for her daughter and for the contest. The result was well worth it and nothing heals the heart better than the smile of the cute little one in a cute little ladybug dress that her mother made with love for her.
