How to make fabric petals for garment embroidery.

Wondering how to do an embellishing or fabric decoration for your garment construction?.

Here is an idea I have for you.

Its simple fabric petals (tulips) you can cut in a simple fashion and add to any part of your attires.

For this I also made a simple small size bodice for you to have an overview of how this will look.

Process

  • Get a thick fabric like I have used, a scuba or plain thick fabric as desired

  • Next you cut it into a circle which will be divided into 4 segments.

  • Trim the edges with a clean shear scissors or anyone you can improvise.

  • This can then be pleated at the semi-circle region to give you your desired petal shape.

  • Place on any part of your fabric and use get gums to stick some pearls to the edges of the tulip for a near finishing.

Simple isn't?

Probably you want to make a simple top and need an idea on how to add some tulip, this process is easy and you get it done within few minutes.
