Este fin de semana me dedique a fabricar algunas bolsas de tela reusables ya que las que tenía no eran suficientes, además que hurgando en mi caja de costura me di cuenta de una tela ideal para guardar y trasladar las frutas y verduras que compraba en el mercado, aportando mi granito por reducir el impacto ecológico en el mundo.
Con estas bolsas además puedes trasladar cualquier producto, ya que son súper resistentes, cómodas y los modelos son súper interesantes y lindos, en este caso realice dos modelos, una para la compra de víveres u hortalizas y otra para llevar mis libros al club de lectura al cual asisto con mi hijo de 8 años.
Te cuento que entre los beneficios están:
- Usar una bolsa de tela para muchas más cosas.
- Son más resistentes y duraderas.
- ¡Ahorrarás mucho más!
- Y lo más importante: das el ejemplo.
Es triste saber que las bolsas de plástico usadas han sido encontradas en lugares tan remotos como por ejemplo el Polo Norte, además cada año muchos animales terrestres y marinos han muerto por culpa de las bolsas de plástico.
Si usamos bolsas de tela ecológicas estamos diciendo sí al reciclaje y no al derroche de los recursos del medio ambiente.
Realizando este post me puse a investigar un poco y surgieron 3 preguntas interesantes…
¿Cómo podemos promover el uso de bolsas ecológicas?
- Recibir las bolsas de plástico solo cuando sea estrictamente necesario.
- Reutilizar las bolsas que ya tenemos.
- Usar medios alternativos de empaque.
¿Por qué debemos reutilizar las bolsas?
- Una bolsa plástica tarda 500 años en desintegrarse y no se puede reciclar ni el 1% del total que se produce en el mundo.
¿Cuántas bolsas de plástico pueden reemplazar una bolsa de tela?
- Una bolsa de tela supondría 1.000 bolsas de plástico menos. Millones de bolsas plásticas acaban en la basura cada año.
A continuación el paso a paso de la elaboración de las bolsas
Medí y corté dos trozos de tela de tul de 25 cm x 30 cm (lo mejor es que las puedes hacer a la medida que tú quieras)
Para la parte de abajo utilice una tela blanca de 25 cm x 12 cm
Para la parte de arriba o asas, corté otra pieza de la tela blanca de 25 cm x 12cm, pero le realice un corte en “U”
Listas todas las piezas ahora a coser!
Coloca las telas frente con frente y coses en línea recta
Le das el acabado con el zig-zag
Para que te quede el detalle cuadrado de las bolsas, en la parte de abajo mide 2 cm y coses
Con la parte de arriba y las asas, le haces un dobladillo hacia adentro o colocas sesgo, tú decides
Así debería quedarte…
Siguiente paso unir las dos piezas
Cortamos los excesos de tela para dar mejor acabado
Y listo, ya tengo mis bolsas reusables y ecológicas, ayudando desde mi espacio al medio ambiente

This weekend I dedicated myself to making some reusable fabric bags since the ones I had were not enough, plus rummaging in my sewing box I realized an ideal fabric to store and move the fruits and vegetables I bought at the market, doing my bit to reduce the ecological impact on the world.
With these bags you can also move any product, as they are super resistant, comfortable and the models are super interesting and cute, in this case I made two models, one for the purchase of groceries or vegetables and another to carry my books to the book club which I attend with my 8 year old son.
I tell you that among the benefits are:
- Use a cloth bag for many more things.
- They are stronger and more durable.
- You'll save a lot more!
- And the most important thing: you set an example.
It is sad to know that used plastic bags have been found in places as remote as the North Pole, and every year many land and marine animals have died because of plastic bags.
If we use eco-friendly cloth bags we are saying yes to recycling and no to wasting environmental resources.
While making this post I started to do some research and 3 interesting questions came up....
How can we promote the use of eco-friendly bags?
- Receive plastic bags only when strictly necessary.
- Reuse the bags we already have.
- Use alternative means of packaging.
Why should we reuse bags?
- A plastic bag takes 500 years to disintegrate and not even 1% of the total produced in the world can be recycled.

The following is a step-by-step guide for the production of the bags
I measured and cut two pieces of tulle fabric 25 cm x 30 cm (the best thing is that you can make them any size you want).
For the bottom use a 25 cm x 12 cm white fabric.
For the top or handles, I cut another piece of the white fabric 25 cm x 12cm, but I made a "U" cut on it.
All the pieces are ready now to sew!
Place the fabrics facing each other and sew in a straight line.
Finish with the zig-zag stitch.
To get the square detail of the bags, measure 2 cm on the bottom and sew
With the top part and the handles, hem it inward or place bias, you decide
This is how it should look...
Next step join the two pieces together
Cut the excess fabric to give a better finish.
And ready, I have my reusable and ecological bags, helping from my space to the environment.
I really enjoyed making this project, plus I was already in need of some bags.
