Hello friends from Needle Work Monday ❤! I hope you are very well today 😊. Here in Argentina Monday is almost over and I have had a very long day, I almost did not get to upload my participation on time for the contest but here I am! (writing from the dark because I have no electricity 😝❤).
¡Hola amigos de Needle Work Monday ❤! Espero que se encuentren muy bien hoy 😊. Aquí en Argentina ya casi termina el lunes y yo he tenido un día muy largo, casi que no llego a subir a tiempo mi participación para el concurso pero ¡aquí estoy! (escribiendo desde la oscuridad porque no tengo electricidad 😝❤).
Fortunately today I had a lot of work in real life: I was teaching several kids online and that occupied me most of the afternoon. Then I got to work on my project for the contest. I already had an idea of what I wanted to do quite a few days ago, but the machine was just brought to me yesterday and I thought 'well, I'll start the project tomorrow'. But the me of the past didn't know that I was going to be so busy today 😅.
Afortunadamente hoy tuve bastante trabajo en la vida real: estuve dando clases a varios chicos vía online y eso me ocupó casi toda la tarde. Luego, puse manos a la obra en mi proyecto para el concurso. Ya tenía una idea de lo que quería hacer hace bastantes días, pero la máquina recién me la trajeron ayer y pensé 'bueno, empiezo el proyecto mañana'. Pero la yo del pasado no sabía que iba a estar tan ocupada hoy 😅.
Anyway, it is for all that that I can only now sit down to write this post. First of all I want to show you the fabrics that I am going to use for this project. I think my house could clearly be called 'the patchwork house' because we have them all and in all colors 😝.
En fin, es por todo eso que recién ahora puedo sentarme a escribir este post. En primer lugar quiero mostrarles las telas que voy a utilizar para este proyecto. Creo que mi casa podria llamarse claramente 'la casa de los retazos' porque los tenemos todos y en todos los colores 😝.
My project will also have buttons. We have many and all shapes and sizes, allowing you to choose the right ones for every occasion.
Mi proyecto además de tela tendrá botones. Tenemos muchos y de todas formas y tamaños, lo que te permite elegir los adecuados para cada ocasión.
These are the pieces of a part of my project. Maybe the shape tells you something, you can guess. It's hard not to be obvious but it's funny anyway 😝.
Estas son las piezas de una parte de mi proyecto. Quizás la forma te indique algo, pueden adivinar. Es difícil no ser obvios pero de todos modos es gracioso 😝.
After sewing a few pieces, this is what we have. Do you have something in mind?
Después de coser algunas piezas, esto es lo que tenemos. ¿Tienen algo en mente?
As a last clue, some blue fabric sewn in a straight line. Now that my machine is fixed this type of stitch is perfect. Before fixing one of the springs that adjusts the thread tension was broken, which made one stitch longer than the other and was really messy. But after his time at the machine mechanic, everything works as it should ❤.
Como ultima pista, un poco de tela azul cosida en linea recta. Ahora que mi máquina está arreglada este tipo de puntada sale perfecta. Antes del arreglo estaba roto uno de los resortes que ajusta la tensión del hilo, lo que hacía que una puntada sea más larga que la otra y quedaba realmente desprolijo. Pero después de su paso por el mecánico de máquinas, todo funciona como tiene que ser ❤.
