Saludos comunidad @needleworkmonday , esta es mi primera vez publicando en esta comunidad, he leído mucho y me gusta, los felicito a todos por su extraordinaria creatividad, y siento un poquito de envidia de la buena porque quiero superarme en este campo de la costura.
Hice varios intentos fallidos de aprender tejer, aunque no me he dado por vencida todavía, mi abuela me enseñó a coser en máquina y por supuesto mi mamá me enseñó a coser a mano, también veo bastantes tutoriales en internet. En fin, que aquí les traigo las fotos de un cojín de panda que cosí a mano con el estampado de una franela.
Los materiales:
Estampado de franela
Lápiz.
Tijera.
Hilo y aguja.
Relleno Guata.
Piedras swarovski verde jade.
Procedimiento:
Dibujar y Cortar el estampado con la forma deseada, en mi caso un Corazón. Además, cortar en la tela otro corazón que será la parte posterior del cojín.
Unir cosiendo ambas telas con el estampado hacia adentro de manera que al voltearlo la costura quede en la parte interior del cojín. Dejar una pequeña abertura para poder introducir el relleno.
Rellenar con guata, distribuir de manera uniforme para que no se vean bultos o se deforme el cojín, cerrar la abertura.
Decorar la costura con piedras swarovskis.
Aquí hago un paréntesis para contarles que la decoración con piedras swarovskis fue uno de los varios intentos por decorar el cojín, primero traté de hacer borlas de estambre, pero no me gustó como quedó, buscando en casa que más tenía para decorar, encontré estos canutillos swarovskis que son del mismo color que los ojos del panda estampado. Y bueno al final me decidí por decorarlo con los swarovskis.
Este trabajo lo realicé con costura a mano y me tomo dos días, y como anécdota “muchas peleas” ja, ja, ja, con mi hijo porque se quería adueñar de mi cojín. A nosotros nos encantan los pandas.

Procedure:
Draw and Cut the print with the desired shape, in my case a Heart. Also, cut on the fabric another heart that will be the back of the cushion.
Sew both fabrics together with the print facing inwards so that when you turn it over, the seam is on the inside of the cushion. Leave a small opening to insert the stuffing.
Fill with wadding, distributing it evenly so that it does not show lumps or deform the cushion, close the opening.
Decorate the seam with swarovskis stones.
Here I digress to tell you that the decoration with swarovskis stones was one of several attempts to decorate the cushion, first I tried to make worsted tassels, but I did not like how it turned out, looking at home what else I had to decorate, I found these swarovskis beads that are the same color as the eyes of the printed panda. Well, in the end I decided to decorate it with the swarovskis.
This work was done by hand sewing and it took me two days, and as an anecdote "many fights" ha, ha, ha, ha, with my son because he wanted to take my cushion. We love pandas.
