How much thread should they use to make something like this ?: triple the height they want, for example to make a 20 cm high tapestry, I will cut 60 cm strips (in this design only), the knots consume a lot of thread, but here we weave only 1/3 of the curtain.

Como podrán ver con la práctica, la cantidad de diseños que pueden hacer solo con el nudo plano es infinita, porque depende de donde tejen o no para hacer un dibujo.
Then, scattered in all the loose threads, we make DOUBLE SIMPLE KNOTS (it's like making a knot but before closing I pass the thread again), taking each thread, I make 2 or 3 (I measure the total height first so as not to shorten too much) and then, when I take the thread from the side, I tie the knots in places where I did NOT do in the previous thread ... and so on with all the threads.
Luego, esparcidos en todos los hilos sueltos, hacemos NUDOS SIMPLES DOBLES (es como hacer un nudo pero antes de cerrar vuelvo a pasar el hilo), tomando cada hilo, hago 2 o 3 (mido antes el alto total para no acortar demasiado) y luego, cuando tomo el hilo de al lado, hago los nudos en lugares donde NO hice en el hilo anterior... y asi con todos los hilos.
And the work is finished! We only use 3 knots, but a lot can be done.
