Después de un fin de semana súper ocupada entre reparaciones de la casa y salidas de último minuto a la calle, por fin hoy he podido levantarme con el firme deseo de tomar mis telas y mis agujas para realizar una manualidad libre de patrones, reglas, instrucciones. Mientras preparaba el café solo pensaba en lo que podía elaborar; entre mi mente solo quería obedecer las reglas de este reto y no buscar en ninguna de mis paginas favoritas como pinterest.
Por otra parte me lamentaba no haber podido alcanzar con lo que había pensado, creí que el fin de semana iba a poder dedicar mi tiempo completo a un proyecto más grande y así poder presentar algo hermoso. Pero las cosas no siempre se dan como uno quiere ¡verdad!
A pesar de todo esta locura que fue mi vida esta semana hoy pude completar el reto y aquí estoy, escribiendo para aunque sea llegar en el último segundo de este maravilloso día.
Un regalo para mi madre
Cada vez que vamos a realizar una manualidad hay detrás una historia y hay un porqué de las cosas; todo eso es parte de la vida y que bonito que podamos organizar las ideas y podamos aprovecharlas para a través de ellas ofrecer un reconocimiento alguna persona o tener una muestra de afecto y cariño a nuestros seres queridos.
Hoy le tocó el turno a mi madre, el ser que más amo en este mundo y por el que mi vida es mejor cada día.
Este año quiero empezar desde temprano a organizar mi viaje para ver a mi familia en el Estado Táchira y lo que más me emociona es poder ver a mi madre; por eso quiero llevarle todos los regalos que pueda y entre esas cosas esta esta toalla bordada en cinta.
Desde hace unos meses había comprado esta toalla y es hasta ahora que me he dedicado a embellecerla, como ven, la diferencia es increíble cuando le haces estos detalles hermosos.
Mientras bordaba solo podía pensar en mi madre, yo sé que a ella le encantan las flores y es por eso es que tiene una variedad enorme en su jardín, desde bellas orquídeas hasta plantas súper extrañas que brotan su flor una sola vez al año. También pensaba en mi familia de @Needleworkmonday, en las chicas que semana a semana nos presentan cosas bellas. Me las imaginaba igual que yo terminando sus publicaciones y otras corriendo para llegar a tiempo.
Ya eran las 10 de la mañana cuando tomé las agujas, las cintas y la tela Etamina para comenzar a trabajar; el bordado en cinta es muy sencillo, solo debes tener en mente que dibujo vas a plasmar en la tela. Como hoy no tenía patrón simplemente me dediqué a bordar flores de todo tipo que representaran el jardín de mi madre. En ciertos momentos del trabajo me transporté a mi infancia a ese rincón favorito donde me encantaba jugar sola con mis muñecas. Recordé a mi padre y mis hermanos, recordé las mañanas en que me tocaba regar la plantas o las veces que sembraba muchas de ellas junto a mi mamá.
También me día cuenta de algo, mi madre cada vez que le queremos tomar una foto se esconde entre las matas, creo que ella quiere esconderse pero lo que no sabe es que es ella quien embellece aún más las flores.
Este año le he enviado dos ramos de rosas rojas, yo se cuánto le gustan y me encanta hacerla feliz y verla sonreír.
La manualidad tardó unas 4 horas, entre el bordado y la costura; me hubiese gustado colocarle más cosas pero esto fue saliendo poco a poco de mi mente y mi corazón. Ahora como ven, ya tienen una idea más para regalar detalles hermosos y personalizados a sus seres amados. Esta toalla puede ser lavada ya que todas las cintas están bien aseguradas en la parte posterior con aguja e hilo. Como siempre algo se me olvida, hoy se me olvidó pintar la tela en pintura para tela color verde antes de comenzar a bordar. Pero al final le pinté un poco.
Con este anhelo grande que me quedó en mi corazón por ver a mi madre me despido, espero que todas pasen una excelente semana.
Amén y quieran mucho a ese ser maravilloso que nos dio la vida, porque MADRE hay una sola.
After a super busy weekend between house repairs and last minute trips to the street, I finally woke up today with the firm desire to take my fabrics and my needles to make a craft free of patterns, rules, instructions. While I was preparing my coffee I was only thinking about what I could make; in my mind I just wanted to obey the rules of this challenge and not look at any of my favorite websites like pinterest.
On the other hand I regretted not having been able to achieve what I had thought, I thought that on the weekend I would be able to dedicate my full time to a bigger project and be able to present something beautiful. But things don't always work out the way you want them to, right!
Despite all this craziness that was my life this week today I was able to complete the challenge and here I am, writing to at least make it in the last second of this wonderful day.
Every time we are going to make a craft there is behind a story and there is a why of things; all that is part of life and how nice that we can organize the ideas and we can take advantage of them to through them offer a recognition some person or have a token of affection and affection to our loved ones.
Today it was my mother's turn, the person I love the most in this world and for whom my life is better every day.
This year I want to start early to organize my trip to see my family in Táchira State and what excites me most is to see my mother; that's why I want to bring her all the gifts I can and among those things is this ribbon embroidered towel.
Since a few months ago I had bought this towel and it is until now that I have dedicated myself to embellish it, as you can see, the difference is incredible when you do these beautiful details to it.
While I was embroidering I could only think of my mother, I know she loves flowers and that's why she has a huge variety in her garden, from beautiful orchids to super strange plants that sprout their flower only once a year. I was also thinking about my @Needleworkmonday family, the girls who week after week introduce us to beautiful things. I imagined them just like me finishing their posts and others rushing to make it on time.
It was already 10 o'clock in the morning when I took the needles, ribbons and Etamina fabric to start working; ribbon embroidery is very simple, you just have to have in mind what drawing you are going to embroider on the fabric. As I didn't have a pattern today, I simply embroidered flowers of all kinds that represented my mother's garden. In certain moments of the work I was transported back to my childhood to that favorite corner where I loved to play alone with my dolls. I remembered my father and my brothers, I remembered the mornings when it was my turn to water the plants or the times I planted many of them together with my mother.
I also realized something, my mother every time we want to take a picture of her she hides among the bushes, I think she wants to hide but what she doesn't know is that she is the one who embellishes the flowers even more.
This year I have sent her two bouquets of red roses, I know how much she likes them and I love to make her happy and see her smile.
The craft took about 4 hours, between embroidery and sewing; I would have liked to put more things on it but this was coming out little by little from my mind and my heart. Now as you can see, you already have one more idea to give beautiful and personalized gifts to your loved ones. This towel can be washed as all the ribbons are well secured on the back with needle and thread. As always something slips my mind, today I forgot to paint the fabric in green fabric paint before I started embroidering. But in the end I painted it a little.
With this great longing in my heart to see my mother I say goodbye, I hope you all have a great week.
