Hello dear community #NeedleWorkMonday, I hope you had a blessed and productive weekend and that this week that begins comes loaded with many blessings and success in all the projects you undertake.
August is here and so is Monday, which has become the date to share sewing projects, today I bring you a #tutorial to make a makeup bag, ideal for storing makeup tools and have them organized in the portfolio and at hand; lip gloss, foundation, compact powder, shadows, among others, is made of denim fabric and taffeta lining.
I made it using the remnant of a previous project and it was funny because the fabric was only enough for the outside, in fact the measures were given by the same remnant, I did not have to trace, just fold in half, cut and get to work, at first I did it for myself, then a friend told me that her makeup case was broken and whenever she needed to make up at work she had a mess in her purse with paints and mirrors scattered at the bottom of the bag, as my bag is in good condition, I told her that I was going to give her one that I had made that week with some scraps of fabric.
It is easy to make, just combine the scraps you have at home.

PROCEDURE
I placed the fabric rectangles on the zipper right sides together, pinned and sewed.
Volteé los rectángulos y pasé costura arriba.
I flipped the rectangles over and topstitched.
I faced the zipper and main fabric right sides together, then placed the lining, pinned and stitched.
I folded the strip of patterned fabric and stitched with a straight stitch.
I pinned the main fabric and lining, folded the strip and tucked it between the main fabric, sewed the outline leaving an opening in the lining.
See you later
