Sewing a Sofa Cover With 100% Cotton

Having a beautiful and comfortable home is the dream of many people. However, a beautiful home is definitely associated with a huge budget.

Before moving home, I have the couch that is already a long time because I bought it from a thrift store. I bought it with a price of 200.000 idr. This Sofa I give to my father's house. With a shape that is a little outdated, I'm trying to create a sofa that looks more beautiful.

There are several ways to be able to embellish a sofa, can make the sofa cover even replace the fabric with the favorite material. This could hide defects on the couch.
This time I want to make the cover of the sofa are made from 100% cotton. I choose a cotton material that is easily washable and comfortable to wear as well as get the cotton in my area also very easy.
Usually this material is used to make the bed sheet/ bed covers, this time we're trying to make a sofa cover guys!

The materials and tools required:

• Cotton fabric 2 meters with a field of 240 cm
• Thread
• Sewing machine
• Meter fabric
• Rubber and rope

Okay we start to sew!

• Cut the fabric like the picture above, adjust to the shape of the sofa and size. Do not forget to preferred 3cm for sewing seams also a place for rubber to fabric flexible adjust the shape of the sofa.

• Prepare the strap and the rubber then paste on the outskirts of fabric that is sewn.

• Sofa cover is finished!
