Squirrel Friday again!

A perfect ring in that tail. Her name is "Jessy" and she wishes everyone on Hive a Happy Friday.

I like to show our wild squirrels on Fridays as it was a long week and they always offer some relaxing views before the weekend. Squirrel life is good here and they happily chow through a pack of peanuts in a week. But we don't mind as they are all our little friends.
Come and meet Jessy.

Every morning when I do the replies on my posts, one of the 5 squirrels will come and knock on the study window for a nut.

But Jessy was determined to get two nuts, so I gave her two.

She popped up onto a column of our garden's low dividing wall.

You can see that she had her make up on this morning and maybe she was preparing for a Friday night date.

Oh yes, she was ready to go and bury those nuts and I knew that she would be back.

Sure, she was back several more times for her Friday stash and maybe she was planning a party.

Now these little squirrels are all the grand children of our lovely "Squirry" and we are so sad that she will not see them, as she disappeared towards the end of last year.

Some of you will remember Squirry and here is an old photo of her on Marian's shoulder.

So no, we will not tame the new lot and it's best for them to stay wild and free.

And That's All Friends!

Note: All photos are my own and taken with a Canon Powershot SX60HS Bridge camera.

We hope that you have enjoyed the story and the pictures.
