A wet week.

We are starting to feel like Ducks.

Everything is wet and nature teaches us that with a full stomach one can handle the wet and the cold better.

The weatherman said that it will rain until Sunday!

It is now winter here in South Africa and we have a series of cold fronts coming in. People are swamped by the water and the townships in the low lying areas are all being flooded. I so wish that we can build them decent houses on better land above the low water mark.

Have a look at our mighty mountains today.

Did I tell you that everything and everyone was wet this morning?

A great surprise as Harry landed yesterday and we were so glad to see him again after their disappearance. Sadly Sally and the babies were nowhere to be seen and they must be hiding somewhere in the bushes around here.

Harry did his usual procession as he came towards me and I warned Marian to put his food out.
Now I wonder how many would see Harry doing a poo here as he walks?

Bang! Here he popped unto the low wall at the front.

And finally this was his destination.

We can only hope that Sally and the 12 babies will be okay in this weather and thankfully the rain will keep the predators away. Maybe, just maybe the little things will all make it this time and yes, we even pray for geese.
So please don't moan if you see photos from my files during this week, as it is madness to go out there with my camera.

And That's All Friends!
