Jest to związek chemiczny, naturalny antybiotyk pomocny w leczeniu gronkowca złocistego. Za to w grzybni tych grzybów można znaleźć naematolinę i naematolon, które są cytotoksyczne wobec wirusa polio.

At first I thought it was a Mycena inclinata, common name: clustered bonnet or the oak-stump bonnet cap (this is how the mushroom recognition app recognized me), but nevertheless the human eye and knowledge give better results in correctly identifying the fungi, and I now know that the correct name for this mushroom is Hypholoma fasciculare (common name: sulphur tuft or clustered woodlover).
Najpierw myślałam, że to grzybówka mydlana (tak mi rozpoznała aplikacja do rozpoznawania grzybów), ale jednak ludzkie oko i wiedza są pewniejsze w tym zakresie i wiem teraz, że prawidłową nazwą tego grzyba jest łysiczka trująca.
