Locals and Sea Grass

On Saturday afternoon, the family went to Flower Beach resort again, this is our favorite beach to go to because aside from it is beautiful with white sand, it is also not crowded, only a few comes here and with the pandemic, we make sure that whenever we go to the beach, it must be somewhere that's not crowded. This one is a perfect candidate. Well, we still checked one beach resort before coming here but it was fully packed so we decided to go straight here instead.

As we were done with swimming and were just chilling under the rock wall where we placed our things, I looked for subjects to share with you here on Hive. I saw a local with her pet dog and snapped this photo. The dog wanted to go back to the shore and in this picture, he succeeded in getting out of his master's arms, then headed to the shore. Bet the dog was not a beach lover, eh?

And yet another local with her child, perhaps a two year old toddler. She arrived after we did and her other children were already on the way back to their house while she was left. I guess they just live very nearby.
One of their children was looking at us while we were enjoying our bought ice cream so I gave them the rest of the ice cream to share with her three sisters. His smile reached his ears!

As the locals were out of the sea, I felt the serenity of the beach and this sea wall that have been home to these seagrasses. It was low tide when we arrived there and four hours after, the water had moved back further revealing most of the seagrasses on these rocks.

A closer look, it looks slimy but no, it isn't even slippery. My son was even walking on it and he wasn't slipping. I know seagrasses are turtle's favorite food and it is also the reason why sea turtles go to the shallow shores so they can munch on them.

With that thought, I wonder, perhaps there are turtles nearby. On this beach, when it is low tide, for one to get to the deeper portion, we have to walk for 5 minutes. But if its high tide, this area is fully covered.
