Dogs are furry 4-legged angels that with their unconditional love fill us with love, happiness and laughter. I know that every person who has a dog will think the same as me. We feel them as part of our family and many times we observe in them a well defined personality. 🐶
They give their love unconditionally and no matter if they have been reprimanded, they don't know the meaning of resentment and greet you again as if you were the most special being on earth.
Dogs give us many reasons to love them:🐶
- They are always with us.
- When we are sad or sick they stay by our side.
- They don't waste any moment to play and make us smile.
- They love us unconditionally.
- They give love to everyone and often become community pets.
- They protect the house and their owner.
I am telling all of the above because on May 7, 2012, a little poodle puppy came into my life, who filled me with tenderness and laughter. In a short time she became famous in the building for her joy, for her personality, she greeted everyone as if she were a friend. At one point I became known as Yuli's mom, which still makes me laugh a lot. 🐶
Several neighbors sometimes come to pick her up, to take her and play with their children... and she leaves happy! ... which leads me to think that she is a detached dog who can stay with other people without falling into depression. That's a big plus when I have to travel.

This week I decided to participate with the first question: What funny or funny pet anecdote do you have?🐶
Years ago I went with a friend to the Canales de Rio Chico, Miranda State, Venezuela, of course Yuli accompanied us. We arrived at a residential complex that had a dock in the back where boats or in our case a tiny dingui could sail from.
While my friend was inflating the dingui Yuli kept walking along its edge and approached my friend with curiosity about what he was doing. I have to tell you that Yuli is afraid of water, so to get back to dry land he would turn around until he reached the dock and jump in.
When the dingui was ready, my friend shouted "everyone into the boat" and Yuli was the first one to jump excitedly into the Dingui. We started our tour through the canals, a small avenue of water and mangroves on its edges.
Yuli rested her front paws on the edge of the dingui and barked at all the birds that appeared, she was also very curious about everything that moved in the water, although I must also tell you that Yuli looks like "Courage, the cowardly dog", remember that cartoon, she investigates everything cautiously and if it moves she gets scared and barks at it from far away. 🐶
At a bend in the canal the dingui turned off. My friend started pumping the engine to start it, but it wouldn't start. Meanwhile Yuli, a little more confident, began to walk along the edge of the dingui until he was behind my friend's arm, he didn't notice and neither did I. My friend gave a final tug on the dingui.
My friend gave a final tug on the motor guaya and did it with such force that it hit Yuli, who was thrown about 2 meters, falling into the water between some mangroves.
In the distance we could see how Yuli, looking terrified, swam as fast as possible to get closer to the dingui, but it was difficult, a slight current was taking her away.
We started paddling and rescued her from the water. The rest of the ride Yuli was inside the Digui and did not put her little legs on the edge of the boat again. The scare was enough for us to decide that it was time to get a good look at nature.
This is one of many adventures we have had with Yuli, she always has something to do or something to explore.

Los perros son ángeles peludos de 4 patas que con su amor incondicional nos llenan de amor, felicidad y risas. Sé que toda persona que tiene un perro, pensará igual a mí. Los sentimos como parte de nuestra familia y muchas veces observamos en ellos una personalidad bien definida.🐶
Dan su amor de manera incondicional y no importa si han sido amonestados, ellos no saben el significado de resentimiento y te vuelven a saludar como si fueras el ser más especial sobre la tierra.
Es que los perros nos dan varias razones para amarlos:🐶
- Siempre están con nosotros.
- Cuando estamos tristes o enfermos se quedan a nuestro lado.
- No desperdician cualquier momento para jugar y sacarnos una sonrisa.
- Nos aman de manera incondicional.
- Reparten amor a todo el mundo y muchas veces se vuelven mascotas comunitarias.
- Protegen la casa y a su dueño.
Todo lo anterior lo cuento pues un 7 de Mayo de 2012, llegó a mi vida un pequeño cachorro poodle, que me llenó de ternura y risas. En poco tiempo se hizo famosa en el edificio por su alegría, por su personalidad, saludaba a todos como si de un amigo se tratara. Llegó un momento que yo fui conocida como la mamá de Yuli, lo que aún me da mucha risa.
Varios vecinos en algunas ocasiones la vienen a buscar, para llevársela y jugar con sus hijos… y ella se va feliz! … lo que me lleva a pensar que es una perra desprendida que se puede quedar con otras personas sin caer en la depresión. Esa es una gran ventaja cuando tengo que viajar.

Esta semana he decido participar con la primera pregunta: ¿Qué anécdota graciosa o simpática de una mascota tienes?🐶
Hace años fui con un amigo a los Canales de Rio Chico, Estado Miranda, Venezuela, por supuesto Yuli nos acompañó. Llegamos a un conjunto residencial que tenía en su parte posterior un muelle de donde podían zarpar las lanchas o en nuestro caso un diminuto dingui.
Mientras mi amigo estaba inflando el dingui Yuli no paraba de caminar por su borde y se acercaba a mi amigo con curiosidad sobre lo que él estaba haciendo. Tengo que decirles que Yuli le tiene miedo al agua, así que para volver a tierra firme daba la vuelta hasta llegar al muelle y allí saltaba. 🐶
Cuando el dingui estuvo listo, mi amigo gritó “todos al bote” y Yuli fue la primera que salto emocionada dentro del Dingui. Iniciamos nuestro recorrido por los canales, una pequeña avenida de agua y en sus bordes manglares.
Yuli posaba sus patitas delanteras en el borde del dingui y ladraba a todos los pájaros que se aparecían, además tenía mucha curiosidad por todo lo que se movía en el agua, aunque también debo decirles que Yuli se parece a “Coraje, el perro cobarde”, ¿recuerdas esa comiquita?, todo lo investiga con cautela y si se mueve sale espantada y le ladra de lejos.
En un recodo del canal el dingui se apagó. Mi amigo comenzó a bombear el motor para prenderlo, pero no prendía. Mientras tanto Yuli un poco más en confianza comenzó a caminar por el borde el Dingui hasta quedar tras el brazo de mi amigo, él no se dio cuenta y yo tampoco. 🐶
Mi amigo dio un ultimó tirón a la guaya del motor y lo hizo con tal fuerza que golpeó a Yuli, quien salió despedida unos 2 metros, cayendo en el agua entre unos manglares.
A lo lejos veíamos como Yuli con cara de terror nadaba lo más rápido posible para acercarse al dingui, pero se le hacía difícil, una ligera corriente se la estaba llevando.
Nosotros comenzamos a remar y la rescatamos del agua. El resto del paseo Yuli estuvo dentro del Digui y no volvió a poner sus patitas en el borde el bote. El susto fue suficiente para decidir que estaba bueno de curiosear la naturaleza. 🐶
Esta es una de tantas aventuras que hemos tenido con Yuli, ella siempre tiene algo que hacer o algo que curiosear.
