It will be hard to choose one out of this because water and electricity is very essential, they are very important to everyone and when I mean everyone, I mean the whole world. Some might choose electricity just because they want to power their phones or laptops while some will choose electricity just because others are doing so, which ever one you decide to pick, make sure you have a good reason for doing so. But have you imagined a whole day without water not to talk of a week or so.

Water is life, when I mean water is life, there is no day that passes by without you making use of water. If you don't have water you can't cook, wash, bath and many more and I know most of us here love food, me especially, I don't joke with food sometimes my friends call me foodie but there are still people who eat more than I do. Water is very essential for your health and there are many health benefits of water apart from using it to wash clothes or using to cook. Water helps to regulate your body temperature, it protects the tissues, spinal cord and joints, it also helps us to excrete waste product just to mention a few because there are lots of health benefits of water, just want to remind those that can go without water for a week. Lol

Electricity on the other hand is very important on our day-to-day activities. Imagine having a shop where you sell frozen foods or where you sell cold drinks and there is no electricity to power the fridge for a week, the person will be at lost, so electricity is very important to everyone. I know of some countries that doesn't go out of power supply, infact if there is going to be a blackout for few minutes, it will be announced to the public so they will be aware but it doesn't happen in Nigeria. There are at times we have to stay without power supply for some days, at time it might even take some weeks but we still survive or better still let me personalize it " I still survive". Almost every houses in Nigeria has an alternative "Generator". If you are in Nigeria and you don't have a generator as a business man or as a family man it means you don't know what the country or how the country is going.

In conclusion, from my own point of view, I will rather go without electricity for a week than going without water because I know I can do without electricity and I can't do without water. Staying without water for a week is more like killing myself. Lol.

I will like to invite @merit.ahama to participate in this contest.
