Viaje inesperado del trabajo:
El día lunes 28 se dio la oportunidad de un viaje para ir a la capital del país donde vivo (mi ciudad natal y donde amé vivir) para mí fue genial saber que en mi nuevo empleo me darían una formación profesional para fortalecer la crianza amorosa y planificar nuevos proyectos en la comunidad. Nerviosa pero feliz me dispuse a emprender el viaje con mis compañeras de trabajo. Cómo había mencionado en otro post, Aline (la mamá de Paula) trabajará conmigo en ese proyecto y se llevó a Paula pues nos indicaron que dicho viaje tendría un hospedaje de 5 días. Como no había quien cuidara de Paula Aline decide llevársela con nosotras.
Unexpected work trip:
On Monday 28 there was the opportunity of a trip to go to the capital of the country where I live (my hometown and where I loved to live) for me it was great to know that in my new job they would give me a professional training to strengthen loving parenting and plan new projects in the community. Nervous but happy, I set out to start the trip with my coworkers. As I had mentioned in another post, Aline (Paula's mother) will work with me on that project and she took Paula as they told us that said trip would have a 5-day stay. Since there was no one to take care of Paula, Aline decided to take her with us.
El lunes en la mañana emprendimos viaje, para mí se me hizo muy largo salir del pueblo para después esperar a una de nuestras compañeras que tiene su propio auto y se ofreció a llevarnos a caracas.
El motivo del viaje no sólo consistía en ir a una formación profesional si no que el martes 29 se realizaría una marcha para despenalizar el aborto y nosotras pertenecientes también a un movimiento feminista íbamos en apoyo a dicha marcha. Me gustó mucho viajar a pesar de sentir que fue muy largo el trayecto. Al llegar al hotel nos dirigimos a ubicarnos en mientras habitaciones, Aline, Paula y yo compartimos habitación. Algo que me hizo sentir que trabajaría como niñera a pesar de ir a formarme.
On Monday morning we started the trip, for me it took a long time to leave town and then wait for one of our companions who has her own car and offered to take us to Caracas.
The reason for the trip was not only to go to professional training, but on Tuesday 29 there would be a march to decriminalize abortion and we, also belonging to a feminist movement, were going in support of said march. I really enjoyed traveling despite feeling that the journey was very long. When we got to the hotel we went to settle in while rooms, Aline, Paula and I shared a room. Something that made me feel like I would work as a babysitter despite going to train.
Como llegamos de noche nos fuimos a cenar y después a revisar la planificación de la marcha para alistar nos para el día siguiente.
En fin. Admito que no es fácil para mí adaptarme ya que las nuevas compañeras de trabajo tienen formas de pensar muy distintas, es un reto que estoy dispuesta a enfrentar para conocer más personas y tratar de hacer enlaces para aprender.
As we arrived at night we went to dinner and then to review the planning of the march to get ready for the next day.
Anyway. I admit that it is not easy for me to adapt since the new co-workers have very different ways of thinking, it is a challenge that I am willing to face to meet more people and try to make links to learn.
