Condors scanning through time
This week's @ecotrain makes us flutter into the future and it is splendid, with so much flight and visions! Condors of time, that's what we will be with these questions!
It is very hard to know if we are all waking up or being put to sleep sometimes.. and so this week we would like to hear what you think! What do YOU think this world will look like in 20 and 200 years.. Whilst 20 years may not sound like so long, think how far we have come since the year 2000.. or indeed 1700s! You can of course focus on anything.. your predictions can be about inventions, ideas, ethics, climate, technology, language, crypto, or anything you like. Some simple examples are Life expectancy will rise past 100. ... Computers will be invisible. ... Books will be dead. ... Your every move will be tracked. ... World's population will reach 8 billion. ... China will be the world's largest economy. ... We'll have self-driving cars... It will be normal to retire at 70... or something completely different!
Undoubtedly, this week's theme is a great one, the exercise invites us to a reflection that stops us to think about the future, the one that slips away from us between anxiety and hope.
Although, to stop in the middle of a race imposed by the times, is not so difficult in this time of pandemic that has forced the world to lower its head in the face of designs that escape from normal control.
Because if, before this natural hecatomb that has decimated a great number of human beings in the different confines of the planet, we had been asked this question, I am sure that the answer would not be the same, or at least, the answer would have been quicker, conditioned for a long time to speed.
Whether we like it or not, the uncertainty and fear of contagion suffered, the changes imposed by the Covid19 pandemic, and the social distancing, we are others, being still the same in the background.
For this reason, I believe that the world will not stop its race towards the last thing that has been proposed in any matter. Therefore, I consider that all the proposals to venture into the creative area of our brain, seeking to get ahead of time, are valid, consistent, and recreate. Therefore, I find all of them interesting and worthy of looking at and imagining.

Will life expectancy exceeds 100 years?
I believe that life expectancy, as time goes on, will increase, as it has been doing.
I believe that life expectancy, as time goes by, will increase, as it has been happening. That people in 20 or 200 years will be over 100 years old is more than evident to me. In fact, already in these times, many are surpassing this barrier with all their operative faculties.
The reason? living conditions have improved, in spite of what many pessimists think, who live the current world from hopelessness, I still have faith in humanity because what is changing are our beliefs and interests, but deep down, we are still the same beings eager for love, adventures, faith and hope that everything will improve, in spite of the saying that "all times past were better", my hard disk does not process that information, for me it is a fallacy.
Will computers are invisible?
If we had been told in 2000 that computers would be in widespread use and the Internet would enable close encounters of all kinds, we would have laughed. So, it doesn't seem crazy to me that computerized systems will become hyper-sensitive and invisible.
Will books are dead?
If you ask me, I would say a resounding No! But, there will be many people who say that paper will not be a part of life in the future. However, I believe and hope that there will always be people who appreciate the classics in their original versions and these will be treasured.
Will your every move being tracked?
Well, that's already happening, so in the future, it will be as normal as making a phone call these days.
Will the world population reach 8 billion?
The world population will reach the number of individuals that the world order allows. I cannot say for sure how many humans will inhabit the earth, but I believe it will not be that many because they will see to it that those who serve to sustain the world according to their precepts and status quo needs will live.
Will China be the world's largest economy?
I think we are seeing that already. China has been increasing its commercial influence and establishing itself as a major global power. So, yes, it is possible that it will become the world's leading power.
Will we have driverless cars?
That's for sure. Science fiction is falling short of technological advances. Ordinary tasks such as driving, commuting to work, shopping, and other tasks inherent to "living" in society are already moving to another level. The outdoor movement will no longer be necessary to "fulfill" life as we know it. The future holds other forms of interaction, other interests, other "jobs", other "vehicles", other forms of travel.
Will it is normal to retire at 70?
In the future, age will not be an impediment to being active, proactive, and capable.
I believe that 70 will be a number and not an age. A person at 70 will be in full capacity and will be a valuable member of the society of the future, the experience will go at the pace of winners and only those who want to retire will retire, because as long as there is a breath of life, there will be hope to be better at what we do, in competition with no one else but ourselves. As long as we have a breath of breath, our daily goal is to be better people, therefore, the numbers will not govern life, but the being. Neither more nor less than anyone else, only beings looking for love and flights.

Cóndores oteando en el tiempo
Esta semana ecotrain nos hace revolotear en el futuro y es espléndido. ¡Cuánto vuelo y visiones! ¡Cóndores del tiempo, eso seremos con estas preguntas!
¿Cómo crees que será este mundo en 20 y 200 años? Si bien 20 años pueden no parecer tanto tiempo, piensa en lo lejos que hemos llegado desde el año 2000. ¡O de hecho el 1700! Por supuesto, puede concentrarse en cualquier cosa. sus predicciones pueden ser sobre invenciones, ideas, ética, clima, tecnología, idioma, criptografía o cualquier cosa que desee. Algunos ejemplos simples son: La esperanza de vida superará los 100 años . Las computadoras serán invisibles. Los libros estarán muertos. Se rastrearán todos tus movimientos. La población mundial alcanzará los 8 mil millones. China será la economía más grande del mundo. Tendremos autos sin conductor . Será normal jubilarse a los 70 . ¡o algo completamente diferente!
Sin duda es un temazo el planteado esta semana por @ecotrain, el ejercicio nos invita a una reflexión que nos detiene a pensar en el porvenir, ése que se nos escurre entre la ansiedad y la esperanza.
Aunque, detenerse en medio de una carrera impuesta por lo tiempos, no es tan difícil en este tiempo de pandemia que ha obligado al mundo a bajar la cabeza ante designios que escapan del control normal.
Porque si antes de esta hecatombe natural que ha diezmado un gran número de seres humanos en los diferentes confines del planeta, se nos hubiera preguntado ésto, yo estoy segura de que la respuesta no sería igual, o al menos, la respuesta hubiera sido más rápida, condicionados desde hace mucho tiempo a la velocidad.
Quiérase o no, la incertidumbre y miedo al contagio padecidos, los cambios impuestos por la pandemia de Covid19 y el distanciamiento social, somos otros, siendo aún los mismos en el fondo.
Por esto, creo que el mundo no detendrá su carrera hacia lo último que sea se haya propuesto en cualquier materia. Entonces, considero que todas la propuestas para incursionar en el área creativa de nuestro cerebro buscando adelantarnos al tiempo y volar con él, son válidas, consistentes y recreables. Por tanto, todas me parecen interesantes y dignas de otear e imaginar.
¿La esperanza de vida superará los 100 años?
Yo creo que la esperanza de vida, en la medida que avanza el tiempo, se irá incrementando, como ha venido ocurriendo. Que las personas en 20 o 200 años superarán los cien años, para mí es más que evidente. De hecho, ya en estos tiempos, muchos están superando esta barrera con todas sus facultades operativas.
¿La razón? las condiciones de vida han mejorado, a pesar de lo que piensan muchos pesimistas que vivencian el mundo actual desde la desesperanza, yo sigo teniendo fe en la humanidad porque lo que están cambiando son nuestras creencias e intereses, pero en el fondo, seguimos siendo los mismos seres ávidos de amor, aventuras, fe y esperanza en que todo mejorará, a pesar del dicho de que "todo tiempo pasado fue mejor", mi disco duro no procesa esa información, para mí es una falacia.
¿Las computadoras serán invisibles?
Si en el 2000 nos hubieran dicho que las computadoras serían de uso generalizado y el internet propiciaría encuentros cercanos de todos los tipos, nos hubiéramos reído. Entonces, no me parece una locura que los sistemas computarizados lleguen a ser hiper sensibles e invisibles.
¿Los libros estarán muertos?
Si me preguntan mí, yo diría un rotundo ¡No! Pero, habrá mucha gente que que diga que el papel no formará parte de la vida del futuro. Sin embargo, yo creo y aspiro que siempre haya personas que aprecien los cásicos en sus versiones originales y éstos serán tesoros.
¿Se rastrearán todos tus movimientos?
Bueno, ya eso está pasando, así que en el futuro será algo tan normal como hacer una llamada telefónica en estos días.
¿La población mundial alcanzará los 8 mil millones?
La población mundial alcanzará el número de individuos que permita el orden mundial. No puedo asegurar cuántos humanos habitarán la tierra, pero considero que no serán tantos porque ellos se encargarán de que vivan los que sirvan para sostener el mundo según sus preceptos y necesidades de statu quo.
¿China será la economía más grande del mundo?
Yo creo que eso también lo estamos viendo desde ya. China ha venido remontando su influencia comercial y entronizándose como un gran poder global. Entonces, sí es posible que pase a ser la primera potencia mundial.
¿Tendremos autos sin conductor?
Eso es seguro. La ciencia ficción se está quedando corta con respecto a los avances tecnológicos. Las tareas ordinarias como manejar, desplazarse a distintos lugares para cumplir con el trabajo, las compras y otras tareas inherentes a "vivir" en sociedad ya están pasando a otro nivel. No será necesario el movimiento en exteriores para "cumplir" con la vida tal como la conocemos. El futuro nos depara otras formas de interacción, otros intereses, otros "trabajos", otros "vehículos", otras formas de desplazamiento.
¿Será normal jubilarse a los 70?
En el futuro la edad no será impedimento para ser activo, proactivo y capaz.
Yo creo que los 70 serán un número y no una edad. Una persona a los 70 estará en plenitud de facultades y será un miembro valioso en la sociedad del futuro, la experiencia irá a paso de vencedores y sólo se retirará el que quiera, pues mientras haya un soplo de vida, habrá esperanza de ser mejor en lo que se hace, en competencia con más nadie que con uno mismo. Mientras tengamos un soplo de aliento, nuestro objetivo diario ser ser mejores personas, por eso, los números no regirán la vida, sino el ser. Ni más ni menos que nadie, sólo seres buscando amor y vuelos.
