The day my nephew bacame Krishna

Krishna Janmashtami( born day of lord Krishna) is celebrated on the 8th day of the dark fortnight of Bhadrapada month ( july-August) every year. This year, it was celebrated on 30th August i,e yesterday. On this auspicious occasion, devotes of lord Krishna organizes singing and dance events in relation to lord Krishna's life. Here yesterday , these events went on overnight chanting krishna bhajans and songs. This event is mainly organized at night also because it is believed that lord Krishna was born at midnight.

In some places, drama events based on lord Krishna's life are also performed. I like when small babies are dressed like krishna and are given to act as krishna in the event. They look super cute in the such dress.

Last year when my nephew was given the role to act as krishna, he loved it. But this year due to covid protocols, drama was cancelled. But my nephew loves wearing the dress anyway. So what they did was dressed up my nephew with the same type of dress that he wore last year for a day. Here are some pictures that he sent us through whatsapp.

That peacock feather was also put by lord krishna which symbolises the whole range of colour humans are made of and each one of us are the part of almighty.

Lord krishna usually wore dhoti as fo some texts .

My nephew is looking for the flute. May be he'll become a flute artist in coming time 😁. Music is a part of lord Krishna's life and he lovees playing flute.

Don't he looks super cute 😍😍😍😍???

This is all for today and i wish you happy Thursday. Stay safe, stay healthy and keeping hiving.
