RE: The horrible morals of humanity

Yeah, the way things are now, there's nothing natural about it anymore. For anyone depending on meat to survive, I accept that they have to eat animal products. People like that though, they tend to understand the sacrifice they take from this animal and it's a very different way of living. Us, in developed countries with a fully stocked supermarket around every corner... We don't need meat for survival. Here, hardly anyone ever even thinks about the fact that they have a dead animal on their plate and that this animal had to suffer and die for their few moments of pleasure. There is no gratitude, there is no understanding of our major abundance. It is a heartless act which I feel should be more widely known. Anyway, studies show a well balanced plant based diet is healthier and animal products come with plenty of downsides to our health. For us, it's so easy* to decide to be compassionate and eat plant based. It doesn't harm us, it helps the planet and it doesn't hurt nearly as many animals as animal agriculture does. Everything keeps evolving and if we feel superior to animals for our 'big brains', we should act the part and evolve past this horrible practice.

Oh, and our teeth hardly compare to canine. I think we'd need to actually have vampire teeth to really make that a fair comparison, but mine aren't that long and pointy 😊

*I say easy, but I know it's hard to change a habit. With our fully stocked stores and many replacements, it is easy enough now. I did need to do this in steps aswell, starting with replacing ground beef in pasta's. There's replacers for it and you hardly know the difference, so that's a quick win. Same goes for milk as an ingredient. There's so many plant-based alternatives which work just as well. Introduce a meatless day, go from there... Now that I haven't eaten meat for a year or so, I don't miss it. I still like the smell when walking past a place that sells meat, but you know what? That's because the spices smell great. That has nothing to do with meat. Just rub em on something else ;-)

P.S.: Liquid smoke seems to help men adjust! For the 'hmmm, bacon' crowd 😅
