In talking about fish, of course, the small village located near the shore can be an advantage. It depends perhaps if there will be a lot of fishermen but I think it's obvious. The sea is reachable and it's a waste no one will take this opportunity to have a source of living. The sea is vast, for sure different types of minerals can get from it. That's why in our Brgy. (small village) can be found by a lot of fishermen.
Once again, I'm here for a #marketfriday post by @dswigle. It talks about market-related posts but if you have none. You can think of anything you want to post that can be entertaining. Share how your Friday went and let us be entertained by it like you. No pressure and don't be obliged what kind of post you'll write. As long as you have fun sharing your day, why not. Sometimes the money itself is not that important when you're having fun.
So? What's going on everyone? Another nice day in our place earlier. The clear beautiful sky let the fishermen sail to the sea freely because the weather was so nice. But what about with these fishermen right now? Before that let me give you an idea of what will happen to the boat of fishermen after sailing.
Concerning the first image that I showed you. Together with that one fisherman and the locals who were waiting for fishermen to arrive. They're not just waiting to buy fish but also to welcome fishermen in docking the boats. If there would be a good catch, they're lucky because fishermen will give each of them who were just waiting there. Before giving fish, some people helped the fishermen by placing their boats in a location not far from the sea as long as they wouldn't leave the boat floating in the sea. In a boat which was made from a piece of wood, it would be bad according to them. I don't know the reason but perhaps they're avoiding the boat to absorb too much seawater.
Okay, that seems new to those not living near the coastal area. Let's take a pause first about the fishermen and let the cuteness of this kitten rob your heart. Unfortunately, it died for some reason that I had no idea about. My mother just asked me to bury this little one. I'm not into pets because I'm afraid I can't take responsibility for them. Even so, I have a heart that can feel sad when I see animals having hard times, especially pets. Too bad it was too little that didn't survive. Okay sorry if I made you sad, let's just go back to the fishermen.
Basically, there are rules in our place about buying fish from the fishermen. When the fishermen caught fish and wanted to sell it. The fish vendors will buy the fish only after the locals who are there are done buying. It's like a privilege because the fish will be in the hands of fish vendors. The fish will be higher, and it's expected, of course, the vendors need to earn money by selling fish.
It has been going on for some time now that I can't remember. Although there are fishermen who directed their catch to a certain fish vendor right away. It happened when that fisherman borrowed money from that fish vendor or lent money and the fish will be the payment. If that's the reason, we locals will not argue but just a little disappointment. There's nothing to do because that fisherman might need that money badly, especially in their diesel.
Now you have an idea if you want to buy fresh and cheaper fish. Just go to the shore and wait for fishermen to arrive and buy through them directly.
