¿Cuál es el acto de bondad más increíble que alguien ha hecho por mi? Pregunta difícil para mi que hace mes y medio cumplí 59 años de edad, por lo tanto imaginen la cantidad de situaciones vividas en las que alguien me ha mostrado su bondad, porque la vida está compuesta experiencias tanto positivas como y negativas, pero es en las negativas es en donde aparecen esas personas a las que comúnmente me refiero como ángeles que me han ayudado casi siempre de manera desinteresada, son tantos y tan significativos sus actos de bondad, de aprecio, amistad y amor que como de costumbre la pregunta de la semana deja en mí ese sentimiento de seguir pensando, de hacer introspección y de reflexionar más allá de la redacción de un post.

The question of the week coincides with the beginning of my retirement from my formal job in the oil industry, a company to which I arrived thanks to an angel who crossed my path, my childhood friend and to whom I will always be grateful Jorge Romero. At the beginning of the year 2000, after having worked since 1986 in the public and private sector, my wife and I decided to start a food business, specifically grilled chicken, we had been working hard for more than two years, but we did not have a good economic situation, one day at noon my friend Jorge arrived at our business, I had not seen him for years, he had gone to study at the university in another state and I stayed studying at the university in Barquisimeto, He had graduated and was working with the oil industry in the eastern part of my country approximately 900 kilometers away by road, we talked and I told him about my studies and experience, I remember he told me "we need you there, are you willing to go" that chance meeting with that angel changed my life and that of my family. A few months later I received a call on a Friday to report the next Monday the Human Resources offices of the oil field of San Tome in southern Anzoategui state in Venezuela, today almost two decades later I start my retirement process, a career that took me to management positions at the corporate level, but it was possible thanks to that angel of human form, that God and the universe put it in my way to materialize and fulfill that mandate, to which I will always send my blessings and my positive energy wherever he is.

La pregunta de la semana coincide con el inicio de mi jubilación de mi trabajo formal en la industria petrolera, empresa a la cual llegue gracias a que se cruzó en mi camino un ángel, mi amigo de infancia y del cual estaré siempre agradecido Jorge Romero. A inicios del año 2000 luego de haber laborado desde 1986 en el sector público y privado, mi esposa y yo decidimos iniciar un negocio de comida específicamente de pollo a la brasa, estábamos trabajando duro desde hacía más de dos años, pero no teníamos una buena situación económica, un día al medio día llego a nuestro negocio mi amigo Jorge, hacía años que no lo veía él se había ido a estudiar en la universidad a otro estado y yo me quede estudiando en la universidad en Barquisimeto, se había graduado y trabajaba con la industria petrolera en la zona oriental de mi país aproximadamente 900 kilómetros de distancia por carretera, conversamos y le hablé de mis estudios y experiencia, recuerdo que me dijo “a ti te necesitamos allá, estás dispuesto a irte” aquel encuentro fortuito con aquel ángel cambió mi vida y la de mi familia. Unos meses después recibí la llamada un día viernes para que me presentara el próximo lunes las oficinas de Recursos Humanos del Campo petrolero de San Tome en el sur del estado Anzoátegui en Venezuela, hoy casi dos décadas después inicio mi proceso de jubilación, una carrera profesional que me llevo hasta posiciones gerenciales a nivel corporativo, pero que fue posible gracias a aquel ángel de forma humana, que Dios y el universo lo pusieron en mi camino para que se concretara y cumpliera ese mandato, al que le enviare siempre mis bendiciones y mi energía positiva este donde éste.

But I do not want to close this post without thanking all those angels in human form, who in times of trouble or difficulties are there, my brothers, my friends and all those people who sometimes without knowing you perform acts of kindness, cooperation and dedication that renew my faith and hope in humanity.

Pero no quiero cerrar este post sin agradecer a todos esos ángeles con forma humana, que en los momentos de problemas o dificultades están allí, mis hermanos, mis amigos y todas esas personas que a veces sin conocerte realizan actos de bondad, cooperación y entrega que renuevan mi fe y esperanza en la humanidad.
