The Earth is our home. We, humans and the nature that surrounds us are connected. And the destruction and wrong use of our environment could lead to the destruction of our planet including ourselves.

The world is now experiencing climate change caused greatly by human activities. Its effects are now felt by any individuals but still play ignorant and continue what they're doing. Driven only by selfish desires concerning their present status and not thinking of the next generation that could inherit its violent effects.

There are some concerned citizens who are taking actions how to combat climate change. But these individuals were not truly supported by our government who only think the value of money and the power it brought. But it doesn't mean that we will just sit down and accept the worst scenario without doing anything.

On the other hand, we can make a change by starting it on our selves, on our family, on our community. Let's think of the welfare of the next generation by doing these little steps towards saving our nature.

Steps to combat climate change:

1. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
There are lots of ways on how to do it. By using creativeness to create something out from what we think was a garbage like old clothes, papers, bottles, plastic containers, even damaged equipments and machines can be turned into something useful. Let's think out of the box, and imagine the beauty it will take after we insert some time and efforts. Like recycling those old denim jeans by making aprons, pot holders or anything that we could use in our house. The damaged refrigerator could be a nice aquarium too. Our imagination are endless and limitless. So let's use it.

2. Let everybody, from a child, to teenagers, to adults and even our old ones plant trees. Make a habit of planting a tree instead of cutting a tree. You know, its kinda soothing and calming, breathing fresh air while surrounded by trees instead of a hot barren land.

ā€‹3. Let's decompose those biodegradable waste properly that we can make use of it as our natural fertilizers to our backyard garden full of vegetables. It's healthy and doesn't have a chemical that may poison our body plus it's free.

4. Avoid spending too much on gadgets. We are only blinded by the "good things" they brought on us. But the negative effects, both on our health and on the environment were being hidden. Buy only what is necesarry to use. Let's spend more time playing to our children, instead of us playing games separately. They will enjoy it more than winning those battles on the online games.

5. Take a breath and live a life with CONTENTMENT! It's not a big deal when you have dreams. But be sure that that dream of yours will truly benefited not just by you but all your family. We are all family here. And this Earth is our HOME!

Together, we need to protect and nurture our nature so that nature in return can protect and give abundance to the needs of the human race.

If we can't protect our nature, then we can't protect ourselves to the worst and violent effects of climate change.

For this week's question, I would thank @ecotrain for making us realize and opened our eyes to the things that we neglect to notice and to the actions that we can make for our future.
