On the Ground at the Los Angeles Worldwide Rally for Freedom

September 18th was set to be a huge day of protest for freedom against an oncoming wave of medical tyranny. In solidarity with the worldwide actions, the cesspool of everything extra and partisan that is Los Angeles held a rally this afternoon at City Hall. The following thread includes some pictures and clips from interviews with people attending the event:

Here's also raw footage of the overview I gave for the event on the ground:

The event was smaller than the other large anti-mandate actions which took place in Los Angeles, yet it still garnered a decent crowd size complemented with coverage from some independent media outlets and even a few mainstream channels. There were scuffles which occurred as a result of a very small number of counter protestors which showed up briefly, as well as completely unnecessary harassment of journalists who did not share the same political opinions as some of the protestors, but the event ended without any major outbreaks of violence. Overall, despite the over the top presence of a desire for Trump to save America and many people's apparent urge to bring right-left politics into it, what makes these actions worthwhile is the presence of first-time, working class people that feel compelled to protest for their freedom in the face of increasing medical tyranny. As the global sociopathic elite uses Coronavirus to usher in a new wave of surveillance, resource consolidation, commodification of nature, and oppression via the Great Reset and Fourth Industrial Revolution, more and more people are speaking out against that as the effects begin to come home. There were several more conversations I had with attendees of the rally off camera, from talking with a woman whose relative was a nurse in Atlanta trying to stay strong through pressure from work to having a conversation with a pastor while petting his adorable ginger dog. Although many people were just getting started in protesting, they seemed determined to keep coming out in defense of not only their freedom, but the freedom of their kids and future generations. That simple conviction from people is what gives me hope beyond all the partisan enthusiasm that flows in force throughout Los Angeles.
