It’s a grim anniversary today: 20 years since 9/11 terrorist attacks. That event, more than anything else, exposed the murderous nature of the Empire, but also the nature of the war…

On January 17th 1961, President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned in his farewell speech to a danger of a bloated military/industrial complex. Sixty years later, each of his words today has a specific weight. During those 40 years until Sep. 11 2001, military/industrial complex has taken over the state, removed democracy, and gave birth to a most vicious perpetual war strain so far – war against terror. A war that can be waged practically on anything proclaimed as ‘danger to United States national security’. Actually, 9/11 was a birthday of Terror/Industrial complex that has brought indescribable misery to the whole world and a bunch of profits for the warmongering Wall Street corporations. Afghanistan was just a glaring example of an obvious fact that war is ‘business’ of the Empire, just as Major General Smedley D. Butler has explained in his book “War is a Racket”. ‘The War on Terror’ is just another great scam aimed at the profits over the dead bodies:

Dr. Michael Hudson in the previous ‘Keiser Report’ episode of 1747, at one point nicely described how the Terrorist/Industrial complex works: In the beginning it provokes a protracted war for which a huge amount of weapons must be produced, but as soon as all the weapons are paid to corporations, its fate no longer matters. It could end up at the bottom of the ocean or in the hands of Taliban, it doesn’t matter. It is only important that the Terrorist/Industrial complex has a reason for new production and new enrichment. Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, said back in 2011 that the essence of the war in Afghanistan was not a war on terrorism, but to wash money out of the tax bases of the US and Europe, and because of that robbery the goal was “an endless war, not a successful war”:

The Future

So, what’s the final point of the perpetual war? We have to go back to Orwell again:

Devoiding masses of education keeps them more controllable. If they can’t be controlled, then they should be exterminated by large in a World scale clash. So, if the pandemic hoax does not bring a significant ‘progress’ in totalitarian control, we can certainly expect new enemy creation, and new false flag operations causing more war all over the World.
