We are social action

Amigos estos han sido días muy locos y cuando me di cuenta ya habían pasado cuatro días desde el sábado, por lo que les paso un reporte atrasado sobre los acontecimientos de este fin de semana. Antes de entrar en materia les explico un poco sobre el contexto de todo esto, el equipo de acción social, es un equipo que durante los últimos meses se a extendido por todo el estado llevando una mano amiga a la parte mas necesitada de la población, entregando una dosis de esperanza en forma de arepa; conforme pasa el tiempo el equipo se hace mas grande y diverso debido a que mientras mas personas se suman, nos vemos mas variados en edad y forma de ser.

Friends, these have been crazy days and when I realized it had already been four days since Saturday, so I'll give you a delayed report on the events of this weekend. Before I get into the matter, let me explain a little about the context of all this, the social action team, is a team that during the last months has spread throughout the state bringing a helping hand to the neediest part of the population, delivering a dose of hope in the form of arepa; as time goes by the team becomes bigger and more diverse because as more people join, we are more varied in age and way of being.

Ahora si, les cuento un poquito más, este sábado que paso, fue el MaelecAD del municipio Cardenas, en otras palabras a unas tres horas de m ciudad y nosotros como parte del equipo juvenil, hicimos acto de presencia para apoyar a nuestros amigos y para demostrar parte de la fuerza que ya tiene nuestro equipo en el estado. Mostrándole al resto de las estructuras regionales que este proyecto no solo crece, sino que tiene equipos realmente comprometidos.

Now yes, I tell you a little more, this Saturday that happened, was the MaelecAD of the Cardenas municipality, in other words about three hours from my city and we as part of the youth team, we made an appearance to support our friends and to demonstrate some of the strength that already has our team in the state. Showing the rest of the regional structures that this project is not only growing, but that it has really committed teams.

Es la demostración de la maquinaria de trabajo político de las alianzas democráticas debido a la proximidad de las elecciones en Venezuela, la juramentación de los equipos de trabajo de campo y apoyo logístico, en las próximas semanas se vienen los MaelecAD’s de todo el estado y el sábado fue el primero que abre la secuencia de todo, por lo que ya desde un primer momento comenzamos a demostrar que cada vez somos mas y como fue este la apertura de todo, no me lo quise perder.

It is the demonstration of the political work machinery of the democratic alliances due to the proximity of the elections in Venezuela, the swearing in of the field work teams and logistical support, in the coming weeks the MaelecAD's of the entire state are coming and Saturday was the first one that opens the sequence of everything, so already from the first moment we began to demonstrate that we are more and more and as this was the opening of everything, I did not want to miss it.

Después de horas de camino, tiempo de lluvia y de perderse varias veces hasta llegar al lugar indicado, ahí estábamos llegando al lugar, saludando a uno y presentándome a otros antes de comenzar el acto. Cuando nos dimos cuenta nos tocaba entrar y en el momento que lo hicimos, nadie espero que nuestro grupo creciera tanto en tanto poco tiempo fuera de nuestra ciudad, de ser solo 15 en todo el estado ya eramos mas de 30 en una ciudad alejada a nosotros. Aun quedan muchos eventos a los que asistir y espero quieran seguir leyendo sobre nuestras aventuras como acción social.

After hours of walking, rainy weather and getting lost several times to get to the right place, there we were arriving at the place, greeting one and introducing myself to others before starting the act. When we realized it was our turn to enter and the moment we did, no one expected our group to grow so much in such a short time outside our city, from being only 15 in the whole state we were already more than 30 in a city far away from us.
