Quantum Learning Model, Learning Techniques to Increase Student Competence

SOURCE

There are many learning models that we can apply in educating students in schools, With this variety of learning models, it is expected to be able to transfer knowledge from teachers to students well and smoothly. One of the learning models that I want to review on this occasion is the quantum learning model.

What is a quantum learning model?

Of course we often use the term quantum, yes this is one of the terms in physics, which means the minimum number of physical entities involved in an interaction. However, the term quantum for this type of learning model was adopted from English. That is quantum teaching".

Quantum teaching itself has meaning as a body of knowledge and methodologies that are often used in every presentation, design, and facilitation at the supercamp. Supercamp is an accelerated learning program that practices the quantum teaching model.

This learning model is the result of the hard work of georgi lozanov, who conducted a study under the name suggestology, this is where the term quantum learning model came from. In this learning model, applying efforts, strategies, and learning activities that are used to make students' memory better.

Types of quantum learning techniques.

In the quantum learning model there are two types, namely techniques and main learning concept maps, namely:

A. Concept maps.
This type is the same as in general, namely making the main title (above) followed by branches which become keywords to attract students' attention. In the quantum learning mode.

Concept maps are useful as a place to show ideas which are then poured into images and graphics. More broadly, the concept map in the quantum learning model itself is a combination of forces, and also the learning techniques below.

  • Self-study techniques,
  • Vark learning techniques (visual, audiotory, reading & writing, kinesthetic),
  • Dunn & dunn learning techniques, etc.

B. Memory technique.
The second is a memory technique, as the name implies, the memory technique in quantum learning focuses more on the following points.
Practice imagination, word punctuation technique, word chain technique, and also the location peg system.

The purpose of the quantum learning model.

As with other learning techniques, the quantum learning model also has a variety of main objectives, namely:

  • The main main objective is to increase the level of student participation through changing circumstances, increasing motivation, and also asking for learning.
  • In addition, the quantum learning model also seeks to improve memory, increase a sense of togetherness, and also aims to improve students' hearing and behavior.
  • Another goal of the quantum learning model is, to make the learning environment more conducive, can develop individual or group learning acceleration.
  • And the most important thing is that it can be adaptive to brain development, and what the brain needs.

That's my brief review of quantum learning techniques, this is the first stage, then I will explain in more detail about this technique in another post. Hope it is useful.
