Is it the right time to resume face-to-face education?

Greetings to all readers, as most of us know education was modified in its entirety, product of a pandemic that attacks us even today without compassion, affecting everyone equally and more recently began to affect the little ones of the house, these situations continue to occur even though the population is already receiving vaccination massively, but these vaccines are not 100% effective or prevent you from the disease but apparently many people still do not understand the seriousness of the matter, and do not care about bio-security measures.

Currently many countries in the world have decided to resume the face-to-face classes, which has not generated very good results even in developed countries that are subject to mass vaccination, and now almost the entire population, those who do not generate symptoms are still considered as carriers of the disease, and can infect other people which has generated that the disease continues to mutate, to such an extent that it is increasingly considered more contagious and now affecting children, as there are records of children who have died due to COVID.

In the particular case of Latin America, little by little countries are beginning to return to school, even though their population is not fully vaccinated and may suffer an unimaginable resurgence, which could end the lives of many people, this by calling the return to school in times that I particularly do not consider adequate even the return to classroom education, even with educational sectors that are very difficult to maintain biosecurity measures, such as children in early education and people in special education, which are considered the most vulnerable sectors.

In the case of Venezuela, the authorities recently made the decision to return to on-site classes for the month of October, when a large number of teachers have yet to be vaccinated and most of the students do not have the vaccine. This could generate many health problems in the country, if entire educational establishments become infected because they do not have the vaccination and biosecurity measures required to be a little more protected against this disease.

Making hasty decisions regarding education can bring more problems than benefits, if the country already has a year and a half with the corresponding measures according to the distance classes, and there is less time to get the solution to the problems of the pandemic, I think it is still time to wait a little longer until we have a clearer picture of what can happen with the return to face-to-face classes, and make appropriate decisions when more than 80% of the population is fully vaccinated.
