Am Donnerstag war das 2 Meeting mit Chandra Station und auch diesmal möchte ich mit euch meine Aufzeichnung teilen.

Zunächst einmal möchte ich sagen, dass ich mit der Aufnahme nicht zufrieden bin.

Ich hatte die Wahl, entweder eine Version hochzuladen, bei der man mich nicht Atmen hört und auch alle anderen schlecht oder eine mit Aufnahme wo man mich Atmen hört.

Ich habe mich entschieden 2 die zweite hochzuladen.

Diesmal habe ich keine Einblendungen gemacht ,da ich viel Arbeit damit hatte die IP Addressen von Chandra Station zu verstecken.

Diesmal haben wir gelernt wie man Dig als Systemctl Service laufen lässt und wie wir ein Sentry Node konfigurieren.

Dig als Systemctl Service laufen zu lassen spart Ressourcen.

On Thursday was the 2 meeting with Chandra Station and once again I want to share with you my recording.

. First of all I want to say that I am not satisfied with the recording.

I had the choice to upload either a version where you can't hear me breathing and also everyone else badly or one with recording where you can hear me breathing.

I decided to upload 2 the second.

This time I didn't make any overlays because I had a lot of work hiding the IP addresses of Chandra Station.

This time we learned how to run Dig as a systemctl service and how to configure a Sentry Node.

Running Dig as a systemctl service saves resources.

First make a file that is called dig.service under this path

/etc/systemd/system/

Second insert the following and remove the paragraphs

[Unit]

Description=Dig Node

After=network.target

[Service]

Type=simple

User=root

WorkingDirectory=/home

ExecStart=/usr/bin/digd start

Restart=on-failure

StartLimitInterval=0

RestartSec=3

LimitNOFILE=65535

LimitMEMLOCK=209715200

[Install]

WantedBy=multi-user.target

Third the following 3 commands are for the systemctl service.

sudo systemctl daemon-reload

sudo systemctl enable dig.service

sudo systemctl start dig.service

Finished you put dig into systemctl and can close your screen instance.

you can make logs with

journalctl -u dig -f

journalctl -u dig | grep height

Important Commands 4 Sentry Node

With

curl localhost:26657/status

you can get the IDs you need .

and with

curl localhost:26657/net_info

you can see your connections you established and check if your valiator is only connected to sentry nodes.
