Vor einer halben Stunde hat die BBC gemeldet dass laut Angaben der Familie Sean Connery verstorben ist.
30 minutes ago the BBC posted that "Sir Sean Connery has died at the age of 90, his family has said."
Er war wahrscheinlich der einzige Mann, der in einem babyblauen Frottee-Einteiler sexy sein konnte. Für viele von uns war er James Bond, in einer Zeit, in der dies ein Verhalten einschloss, das heute (glücklicherweise) schneller in einem Rechtsstreit enden würde, als man schauen kann. Aber er war ein brillanter Detektiv in "Der Name der Rose", und viele von uns liebten ihn als den Vater von Indiana Jones. Er war brillant in "The Rock", und sein kurzer Auftritt in "Robin Hood - König der Diebe" ist meine Lieblingsszene in diesem Film. Das Leben wird auch ohne ihn weitergehen - in den nächsten Tagen wird uns das Fernsehen vermutlich zeigen, wie gut die Filme, in denen er mitspielte, gealtert sind.
He was probably the only man that could be sexy in a baby blue towelling playsuit. For many of us, he was James Bond, in a time when that included a behaviour that would get you into a lawsuit today faster than you could think. But he was a brillant detective in "The Name of the Rose" and many of us loved him as the father of Indiana Jones. He was brillant in "The rock" and his short appearance in "Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves" is my favorite scene of that movie. Live will go on without him - in the next days, television will probably show us how well the movies he starred in have aged.
