French toast is a breakfast staple in our house. Not a week goes by when we don’t enjoy this quick and easy to make, delicious dish.
Ingredients:
6 Large eggs
Half a cup of low-fat milk
A loaf of bruschetta
Salted butter
A cup of grated cheddar cheese
Pure honey
Salt to taste
Method:
Combine the eggs and the milk, whisk until all of the egg is thoroughly mixed into the milk, until a silky, creamy light-yellow mixture. Add a pinch of salt.
Cut the bruschetta into slices and gently soak in the mixture.
Melt the butter in a hot pan and toast the slices of bread, until firm and a golden brown color.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and leave until completely melted.
We love to serve it drenched in pure honey.
