Hello Hive members,
I want to introduce to you guys one food that is very familiar with Asians and also beloved by many western people cause of the crispy skin when you eat. That's Crispy pork belly, which always appears on our Asian table when we have a special occasion. And it's very easy to cook and I found out a simple way to make it and less of time.

First, we need to prepare things on the list below, sure that you can easily find them in your kitchen:

Let' start to make a delicious meal:

Step 1: rinsed off the meat and cooked for roughly 3-5 minutes in boiling water. Please add 1-2 mashed garlic and onion into the water, that will help you get rid of the smell.

Step 2: Combine the ingredients on the recipe into a bowl and mixed well, you can adjust depending on your appetite.
Rub the spice mixture evenly over the pork belly, avoid the pork skin, and gently compress the flesh to let the flavor soak. And don't forget to let it rest for 20 mins.

Step 3: After 20 mins, we will cook that meat in a short time. For me, that will be around 10 mins. With other people, they are not usually doing this step, and just put the meat after marinated and prick into the oven. I did this step cause just want all the flavor that we marinated can totally be soaked into the meat and bring the best flavor. And we don't need to cook it well-done. Just 5 mins each side and you can add more than 2 mins for the pork skin. That will help skin can puffy crackling later.

Step 4: This step is a little fast, and you just need to use your strength. Use a fork to prick holes onto the pork skin and do all the pork skins. If you did carefully at this step, your crispy pork belly will be puffy crackling for sure. Then rinse off the skin and prepare to put it in the oven.

Step 5: Yeah, we are nearly done. Just need to mix a texture of lemonade and baking powder and rub it on the pork skin (just the skin only). After that, we will cover the pork belly with foil, it will help to protect the meat from overheat.

Step 6: Yes, the last step is here. Before putting it into the oven, please preheat at 180C/350F. We will grill into 2 times, first time it will be grill at 180C for 20 mins, then grill at 200C for 20 mins. But you can check whether the meat cracked or not and then decide to increase or decrease the time.
After fully checked, you can turn off the oven and take the pork belly out.
This is my result!!
