Chayotte and Quail Eggs in Coconut Gravy (Lodeh)

What's Up Hive Peeps!

After days of rain, today was warming up. Yesterday and days before were around 7-12 C only, but today it was 17 C. Weather is always unpredictable, hey. Heat wave, wildlife fires, then rainy days, to flooding. Just crazy.

Our region's latest news was worrying too. A bunch of teens, ranging from 13-15 yos, beheaded cat on snapchat. Like WTF.

I feel like locking my littles away...away from scary society. Imagine if that's possible. I don't want them to be corrupted by crazy world out there. Time to dig up the backyard for bunker, maybe? 🤔

Forget aliens invasion. Heartless teens scare me more!

Le sigh 💔
Enough of depressing news.

I have a recipe from Indonesia to share today. It is called Lodeh, esp. great to be served with warm rice!
