Cocinar siempre me ha parecido una forma de expresar emociones y de dar amor, y es que cuando cocinamos ponemos parte de nosotros en lo que estamos elaborando, allí van nuestra atención, energía y emociones; y todo eso impregna a la preparación. Adicionalmente, al cocinar estamos replicando recetas que tienen un gran contenido histórico y social del pueblo de donde son originarias, es decir, son un trozo de historia que hemos adquirido cuando las aprendemos a hacer. Podemos decir entonces, que cocinar implica un ejercicio de memoria colectiva, personal y a la vez una expresión de nuestro ser, de lo que somos como individuos y como pueblo.

Cooking has always seemed to me a way of expressing emotions and giving love, and it is that when we cook we put part of ourselves in what we are making, our attention, energy and emotions go there; and all that permeates the preparation. Additionally, when cooking we are replicating recipes that have a great historical and social content of the town from which they originate, that is, they are a piece of history that we have acquired when we learn to make them. We can say then, that cooking implies an exercise in collective and personal memory and at the same time an expression of our being, of what we are as individuals and as a people.

Bajo esta premisa, tenía pensado desde hace meses atrás, organizar un concurso de DULCES O POSTRES TRADICIONALES; con la intención de promover la creación y participación de recetas que sean autóctonas de los sitios en de donde son originarios o en los cuales habitan actualmente, ustedes, los creadores de contenido o los Foodies que hacen vida en Hive; y hoy esto se ha convertido en una realidad, gracias al apoyo que la comunidad Foodies Bee Hive nos está dando a nosotros, los Curadores de la misma, aportando los premios que serán entregados en esta iniciativa. Considero importante rescatar y conservar nuestra memoria gastronómica, pues es una expresión del pueblo al cual pertenecemos; de allí que haya elegido este tema para este Primer Concurso Foodies. Veamos con más detalles en qué consiste:

Under this premise, I had thought for months, to organize a contest of TRADITIONAL SWEETS OR DESSERTS; with the intention of promoting the creation and participation of recipes that are indigenous to the places where you originate or where you currently live, you, the content creators or the Foodies who make life at Hive; and today this has become a reality, thanks to the support that the Foodies Bee Hive community is giving us, its Curators, by providing the prizes that will be awarded in this initiative. I consider it important to rescue and preserve our gastronomic memory, as it is an expression of the countries to which we belong; hence, I have chosen this theme for this First Contest Foodies. Let's see in more detail what it consists of:

CONDICIONES Y PREMIOS DEL CONCURSO / CONDITIONS AND PRIZES OF THE CONTEST

Condiciones (FAVOR LEER CUIDADOSAMENTE CADA UNA):

Se aceptará un solo post por participante.
Las recetas han de ser tradicionales o autóctonas del país de donde es nativo o en donde vive actualmente el participante.
La publicación debe contener una introducción en dónde se explique de qué parte es la receta (pueblo o ciudad, zona y país), en qué ocasiones o con qué motivo se prepara. Igualmente el participante explicará cómo la aprendió a hacer y por qué la ha elegido para participar en el concurso y qué emociones o recuerdos tiene al prepararla.
NO SE ACEPTARÁN PLAGIOS, NI DE TEXTO NI DE FOTOS. TAMPOCO CONTENIDO ANTIGUO.
La lista de ingredientes ha de ir claramente expresada, en medidas comprensibles en cualquier parte del planeta. Asimismo, debe explicarse qué cantidad de producto se obtendrá, ya sea en raciones o en cualquier otra medida.
La receta ha de ir acompañada de un mínimo de diez (10) fotografías, y en al menos dos (2) de ellas, ha de aparecer el participante elaborando la preparación, y han de presentar al final del post, el postre o dulce ya emplatado o servido. Pueden colocar más fotos si así lo desean. NO se aceptarán fotos referenciales, aunque sean libres de derecho de autor.
Evitar fotografías que se centren sólo en el contenido del recipiente, de la olla o del bol. No estoy pidiendo una panorámica de su cocina, pero al menos un área del entorno de preparación, que se vea parte de la encimera, cocina, paredes. No teman si su cocina es antigua, o es muy modesta. Si se fijan en mis publicaciones, tengo casi un año cocinando en una pequeña estufa eléctrica que habilité encima de una mesa antigua fuera del área de la cocina de mi casa, pues como vivo en Venezuela, se me hace casi imposible adquirir gas doméstico, así que esa no es una limitante, pues no estaré valorando si la cocina es bella o fea, si es moderna o vieja, nada de eso. Y es importante la apertura del plano de la fotografía, pues permite al lector una apreciación más completa y comprensible de la receta.
Cuidar la redacción y la ortografía.
Las explicaciones han de ser claras y comprensibles.
NO es necesario incluir el título de este post dentro del título del post participante, así que son LIBRES de ponerle el título que ustedes deseen a sus publicaciones.

Only one post per participant will be accepted.
The recipes must be traditional or indigenous to the country where the participant is native or currently lives.
The publication must contain an introduction where it is explained from which part the recipe is (town or city, area and country), on what occasions or for what reason it is prepared. Likewise, the participant will explain how he learned to make it and why he has chosen it to participate in the contest and what emotions or memories he has when preparing it.
PLAGIARISM WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED, NEITHER TEXT OR PHOTOS. NEITHER OLD CONTENT.
The list of ingredients must be clearly expressed, in understandable measures anywhere on the planet. Likewise, it must be explained how much product will be obtained, either in portions or in any other measure.
The recipe must be accompanied by a minimum of ten (10) photographs, and in at least two (2) of them, the participant must appear preparing the preparation, and they must present at the end of the post, the dessert or sweet already served. You can put more photos if they wish. Reference photos will NOT be accepted, even if they are free of copyright.
Avoid photos that focus only on the contents of the container, pot or bowl. I am not asking for a panoramic view of your kitchen, but at least one area of the prep environment, which shows part of the countertop, kitchen, walls. Do not be afraid if your kitchen is old or very modest. If you look at my publications, I have been cooking on a small electric stove for almost a year that I enabled on top of an old table outside the kitchen area of my house, because since I live in Venezuela, it is almost impossible for me to buy domestic gas, like this that is not a limitation, because I will not be evaluating if the kitchen is beautiful or ugly, if it is modern or old, none of that. And the opening of the plane of the photograph is important, as it allows the reader a more complete and understandable appreciation of the recipe.
Take care of writing and spelling.
The explanations must be clear and understandable.
It is NOT necessary to include the title of this post within the title of the participating post, so you are FREE to put the title you want to your publications.
