Ginataang Tilapia (Tilapia cooked in coconut milk)

Hi food buddies here in hive!
I hope we all have a good day.
Today I will share my favorite dish "Ginataang Tilapia" but with a twist. This recipe is creamy and flavorful.

Here are the ingredients.

3-4 (cut) pcs Tilapia
1 Medium size Onion, minced
1 Medium size Ginger,minced
1 ripe Tomato, minced
200mL Coconut Milk
1 bunch Pechay
salt and pepper to taste
1 Green Chili(siling haba)

Set aside, make sure that the filling won't fall out.

Using the larger pechay leaves, wrap the fish. Secure the filling by wrapping the opening, it's best to use whole fish.

Lay the stems in a pot.

Add the remaining leaves.

Put the tilapia wrapped in pechay one by one.

Pour the coconut milk.

Put the lid and simmer over medium heat.

When the coconut milks reduces in half, add the siling haba and simmer for another minute.

It's done when it looks like this and turn off the heat.
