After quite a busy week, my weekend started early this morning...and when I woke up, Omar was already busy in his playing room...
He is such a super early bird!!! Needless to say it...that playing room is in such a mess!!! Better leave it like that!!!
I can confirm that 95% of the food we have at home are cooked by my wife or come from my restaurant...it is really rare that we buy from outside...
So today my wife decided to make some Moroccan Charcoal Grill...we had some beef filet that she marinated with Moroccan spices as well as some beef liver, onions and tomatoes...
My job for the day was to light up our grill together with my 2 kids, Omar and Rheem!
It was me who was doing the most of the job...but Rheem and Omar were the most tired! Hahahah!!!
Once the grill was well heated and the charcoal red...it was time to place our skewers to cook...
5 Minutes of cooking on each side...and Boom...the beef was ready...
Just look at that beauty...
We also grilled the onions and tomatoes on that charcoal grill for an amazing taste...
This is so true, food cooked on charcoal taste something else...that smoky taste is simply amazing!
While we were busy cooking...look what Omar was doing...
He broke so many leaves from Mom's flower plants...
Once all food were cooked, and Moroccan mint tea ready...we brought everything in the kitchen and enjoy this delicious lunch...
Let me show you some close shots of the different items that we grilled on charcoal...
This is the onions and tomatoes...nicely grilled...
And this one is our beef liver skewer with spices...so tender...so delicious...
And the main item of the day...beef filet!!!
And as drink...hot Moroccan Mint Tea...
It was indeed a nice Saturday lunch to kick off the weekend...
Now it is time for me to get ready for tonight's diner service in my restaurant!
We are fully booked tonight and it is certain that I'll come back home late...but anyway, my wife, sisters and kids are going with me to give a helping hand!
Wish you all a great weekend ahead!
Best Regards!
