After my lazy Sunday yesterday, where I closed my restaurant and gave everyone a day off - I woke up today full of energy and ready to kick off this new week...
Walking around fruits, vegetables and herbs - Nothing better than that for a chef and foodie!
It was great to see that the sun was present again today and it was not that cold...So I decided to visit our garden a little and see around.
As you've seen above, we are still enjoying starfruits from our tree...this is one fruit that you get to enjoy nearly whole year round...
It is very rare to see the tree without fruits!
Basil and Rosemary
After starting to plant some herbs at home, I've also started to plant couple of herbs that I used in my restaurant...
Both the basil and rosemary plant are doing well...next we will transplant them directly in the soil for them to grow quicker and bigger.
We've recently sown seeds of coriander, thyme and mint - We are just waiting for them to sprout/grow then will be moved to one place - all herbs under one roof near my restaurant!
Peppers Greenhouse!!!
Couple of weeks back, my brother in law started a green house with pepper plants only...and today when I checked...hmmm I could see small green peppers already coming out...
The plants look great and we are going to enjoy peppers in the coming weeks!
My restaurant guests gonna be super happy with all the new dishes that we gonna create with these peppers very soon!
When the plants will grow bigger...this green house will look completely different...full of leaves and peppers! I will take some photos and share with you all once we reach that stage!
There are around 150 pepper plants in the green house...just imagine when they all will be ready to harvest...
We gonna have a real lot of these yummy vegetable!
I spent nearly half my day walking around our plants and herbs...then got back home for some nice tea and pancake with nutella.
The I got ready for work - despite feeling little lazy, but I have to get that courage and go!
Wish you all a wonderful week ahead!
Stay blessed!
