Have you ever wondered...What would happened if there were no more bakeries around!?
I am not talking about big ones or the ones in supermarkets run by big corporations, I am talking about the local traditional ones which are here since ages!!!
These bakeries have been such of a great help to millions around the world...oh yes, bread is such an important food in so many people's life!
So yesterday, I got the golden opportunity to spend some time in one of the local bakery near my house, this is where I buy our bread nearly daily!!!
So much dough...
It was such a pleasure seeing all the different dough raising and waiting for the baker to make amazing breads out of them...
Making bread is an art...not everyone can bake great bread! We can try at home, but it is simply impossible to get the same result as that from a traditional bakery!
French Baguette / Banana Cakes...
Mauritians eat a lot of French Baguettes and this bakery bake thousands of these everyday...3 times a day!!!
Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner!!!
And once they are baked, in couple of minutes they are all sold!!!
After spending over 2 hours talking and learning some tricks with the bakers, they gave me 3 hot French Baguettes and 1 banana cake for free to enjoy for lunch!
They are such good hearted people...on well, anyone who cooks/bakes is always someone kindhearted, I am saying this by experience!
I will try my best to get some more free time and organize another day at the local bakery very soon as I have enjoyed the experience a real lot!

It's nearly lunch time over here and I need to go get my bread from my favorite bakery!!!
