I can't think about summer without icecreams. Almost everyone loves ice cream and without ice cream, some of us can't even imagine summer. During hot days, ice cream is mandatory for me even sometimes I prefer ice cream instead of cold water. Not only my body demands some sugar in summer but also when the outside atmosphere is hot, ice cream is a must for me. Here the weather is kinda dry on hot days, I mean less humidity, less sweat so it is very important to keep my body hydrated all the time. Besides, my body also needs some sugar, and that time ice cream saves me.
I was not a fan of ice cream because my parents never let me eat ice creams. It sounds funny but that is the truth. They used to tell me that ice cream will harm my teeth so when I grew up, I was not attracted towards icecreams. My craving for icecreams I realized a way more later, when I first experience the summer in Kharkiv, I realized I need ice cream.
Vanilla Yogart Ice-cream...
We are having the hottest month of the year so you can guess how much the temperature would be. Anyway, I normally go to the grocery before the weekend so yesterday was not exceptional. Normally I buy ice cream from the superstore, I have some specific choices and I don't like all kinds of flavors.
So, after finishing the grocery, suddenly I saw a new big store. It seemed like a superstore but the name was unknown, never saw that name before. Or perhaps I haven't noticed it properly.
After entering the shop, I noticed the grocery section is separated and there are some exclusive small stores near the entrance. It looks like a mall or mini-mart where some small shops are located under the same roof.
There were some food shops, a pet store, a bank branch, a florist shop, and an ice cream parlor. The name of the ice cream shop is a vitamin and honestly, I haven't understood why they came up with such a name. When I started looking at the menu, I was a little bit surprised of seeing the flavors. Unusual flavored ice cream collection they have...
The sitting area or dining area was nice, not too large but it felt like a boutique dining area. Well-organized and clean space to enjoy food. There were tables-chairs and bar area as well. The bar area was near the window which was full height so I sat at the bar counter.
I have ordered 1 scoop of vanilla yogurt ice cream and it costs me 34 UAH (1.5$). Here ice creams are the cheapest but just because it was yogurt ice cream, it was 1.5$ around. It's not very cheap, medium price range. The taste was good, sweet, and perfect for the summer. It was refreshing, I don't like toppings and prefer plain flavored ice creams or yogurt icecreams.
The texture of the ice cream was nice, kinda sandy-type texture, and felt like homemade yogurt ice cream.
The outside temperature was around 35-degree celsius so ice cream in such weather felt like heaven. The taste was okay, was a little sweet for me but overall I like it a lot...
