How wise my father and my brother-in-law were, they left planted in the backyard of the house many bushes that give delicious fruits and every time we harvest we thank them for having left us planted those gifts of nature in the yard and that today help us in our economy.
My brother-in-law loved planting, if he bought a papaya he would take the seed out and let it dry and then plant it and after a while a leafy plant would sprout.
Que sabios fueron mi padre y mi cuñado, dejaron sembradas en el patio de la casa muchas matas que dan deliciosos frutos y cada vez que cosechamos les agradecemos por habernos dejado sembrados esos regalos de la naturaleza en el patio y que hoy nos ayudan en nuestra economía.
A mi cuñado le encantaba sembrar, si compraba una papaya sacaba la semilla y la dejaba secar y luego la plantaba y al cabo de un tiempo brotaba una planta frondosa.
Daddy died in 2019 and my brother in law in 2021 because of COVID19 a very hard blow, both lived at home and were the pillars and protectors of the 4 women left at home. It has been very hard for us emotionally to live without their presence, because in spirit they are with us and in every memory.

Grandmother's secret:
place in a pot and add biscarbonate with water and leave in serene overnight and in the sun for a day.

Once the process is finished, wash and place in a pot in the candle with the sweet spices and sugar, do not add water.

Let the caramel cook, being careful not to let it burn.
