Sunday cake - autumn pear treat

Golden autumn knocked on our door, it brought with it rich and sweet fruits, and it remains for us to use them in the best way and to prepare various pleasures in order to enjoy them.

Today I made a pear cake. Pears are mostly juicy fruit, sweet, mild in taste, and the texture of the fruit is very creamy. We can buy them on the market almost all year round, but the best ones are the ones that mature on the tree, so we can harvest them fresh.

PEAR AS HEALTHY FRUIT:

In addition to being delicious, the pear is also very healthy, it contains nutritional values. The content of this fruit, such as minerals, vitamins and organic compounds that pear contains, is the reason for their great potential for human health.

Everyone mostly complains about calories, when it comes to some fruits, which come from the natural sugars that the fruit contains. Pears are one of the fruits that contain the least calories, but the fiber they contain gives a feeling of satiety, so it is present in various diets.

Pears also contain plenty of vitamin C which strengthens the immune system, so this simple fruit is recommended for simple conditions that will eliminate colds or flu.

  • flour 220 g
  • 1 baking powder
  • 100 g of honey
  • 150 g of butter
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g of sugar
  • 150 ml of milk
  • a small spoonful of cinnamon

PREPARATION:

Line the mold with baking paper, wash the pears, peel them and cut them into thinner pieces lengthwise.

When you have sliced ​​the pears, arrange the pears in a coated mold, then sprinkle them with sugar and a spoonful of cinnamon.

Separate 50 g of butter and cut it into small cubes, then arrange it on the cake, turn on the oven at 180 degrees and put the mold with the pears for ten minutes.

While the pears are in the oven, prepare a mixture that we will pour over the pears. Whisk the egg and slowly add the milk.

Melt the honey and the remaining butter on the stove and add it to the already beaten egg with the milk.

We mix the baking powder with the flour and add it, mixing it with a mixer, the mass will be a bit thicker.

Take the pears out of the oven and spread the finished dough that we prepared evenly on the cake, return the cake to the oven at the same temperature for about 30 minutes.

When the cake gets a nice color and separates from the mold, it is ready, take it out of the oven and turn it so that the pears will be on the surface of the cake.

The pears will have a special gloss that will release their juiciness, sugar and butter, leave them to cool a bit. You can decorate it to your taste and serve it without additives.

Gentle and fine biscuit, in a duet with soft baked pears go well together, you can also add a little chocolate for decoration. There is nothing more beautiful when autumn arrives and your house smells of cinnamon and fresh fruit.
