I have tried various recipes for various buns many times, but this one seems to me to be the best.
Lovers of kebabs and burgers, in addition to delicious minced meat, we also need good airy buns.
The dough for buns must be very soft, I mean so soft that you can hardly process it, that's the trick of airy dough or (internal holes in the bun). If you put a little more flour, the dough will be too hard and will not rise quickly enough.
It takes a lot of time to lift the dough for buns, but if it is done with quality yeast, half the work is done.
When preparing these fine and airy buns, you need time and patience. So I gave myself a lot of time to make homemade and, above all, delicious buns that differ from the ones I bought with the irresistible smell and taste from my oven.
INGREDIENTS:
- 500 g of smooth flour
- 40 g fresh yeast (or 2 yeast powder)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 50 ml of oil
- 3 dl lukewarm water (water must be neither hot nor cold)
PREPARATION:
Put lukewarm water in a bowl and add yeast to it (I used yeast powder)
Add sugar to the yeast and water, stir and put one or two tablespoons of flour over it and let the yeast rise.
Put the remaining flour in another bowl and add a teaspoon of salt and stir.
Make a small indentation in the flour and add oil.
Then we add yeast to it, and slowly make the dough with a wooden spoon, stirring because the dough will be very soft, so it cannot be processed by hand.
When the dough is well processed, cover it with a transparent foil and then with a clean cloth and leave it to rise for about an hour.
When an hour has passed, the dough will rise and it will be so loose and airy, process it a little with your hands.
When we have made it a little with our hands, we sprinkle a little flour on the work surface and put the dough.
Then add the dough, shape it into an oblong shape and cut it into small balls.
And form small balls of dough, which we will sprinkle with a little flour and leave for another half an hour.
When they have stood and grown nicely, put baking paper in the pan, then stretch each ball of dough with your fingers and make a line with a knife. Bake the buns at 200 degrees until they get a nice golden color.
When they are done, place them on the grid upside down for a few minutes, then turn them over.
