Hola a todos, cómo se encuentran? Hace unos días me contaron de unas nuevas salsas que estaban ofreciendo en McDonald's con los nuggets, y ya que tenía tan buenos recuerdos de los mismos y las salsas de BBQ y mostaza dulce, no podía perder la oportunidad de probarlas.

Cuando llegamos al McDonald's estaba muy solo, los precios que ellos manejan actualmente están muy fuera del alcance de la mayoría de las personas en Venezuela, que con sus sueldos mínimos hacen milagros para mantener a su familia en este desastre.

La gran mayoría de las mesas están retiradas y apiladas en una sola sección, dejando útiles solo como 10 mesas con 4 sillas. En Venezuela aún el porcentaje de la población vacunada es muy bajo, por lo que muchas de las medidas de distanciamiento social se mantienen intactas, o al menos en este tipo de locales.

Lo malo es que tuvimos un poco de mala suerte, ya que no tenían las tres salsas de la promoción, solo pudimos probar la alemana y la chipotle, siendo la de BBQ que la más esperábamos, por lo que tendremos que esperar para otro día.

Lo que nos pareció muy raro es que cada una de las cajas solo tenían cuarto nuggets, teniendo en la mesa hasta 10 cajitas, que solo servirían como presentación y luego las botaríamos. Preguntamos a ver si podían darnos los nuggets sin la caja para no hacer tanta desperdició, pero no se podía por políticas de la compañía.
What seemed very strange to us is that each of the boxes only had four nuggets, with up to 10 boxes on the table, which would only serve as a presentation and then we would throw them away. We asked to see if they could give us the nuggets without the box so as not to make so much waste, but it was not possible due to company policies.

La salsa alemana estaba muy normal, se podría decir que era hasta un poco sosa, parecía un mayonesa condimentada, no tiene ese sabor de caldo de res característico. Por parte la de Chipotle estaba mucho más buena, tenía un sabor y olor como a pimientos y probarla tenía un picante muy bueno, para mí estaba suave, pero a mí amigos si les pareció que picaba mucho.
The German sauce was very normal, you could say that it was even a little bland, it looked like a seasoned mayonnaise, it does not have that characteristic beef broth flavor. On the other hand, the Chipotle was much better, it had a taste and smell like peppers and tasting it had a very good spiciness, for me it was mild, but to my friends it seemed that it was very spicy.
A medida que íbamos comiendo, empezamos a combinar las salsas, obteniendo más sabor y ese picor de la salsa chipotle. Fue una muy buena experiencia, lastima que no conseguimos la de BBQ, pero en otra oportunidad la tengo que probar, jajaja.
As we were eating, we began to combine the sauces, obtaining more flavor and that heat from the chipotle sauce. It was a very good experience, too bad we didn't get the BBQ one, but I have to try it another time, hahaha.
