Best regards to those who are noodle lovers out there and for those who are beginners.

In this content, I'm sharing with you how we Filipino cook particularly Cebuanos a Miswa noodles or wheat vermicelli in English.

Ever since when I was a kid I always remember a different type of noodle dish on every occasion or in daily consumption because it is quick and easy to prepare especially those instant ones so today I'm cooking one recipe for the family's dinner.

Commonly Miswa noodles are cooked with sardines and today I want them nutritious so for this recipe I'm adding sponge gourd for a twist.

For the ingredients I used.

  • 1 can of sardine
  • 1 large size sponge gourd
  • 4 sachets of Misawa
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 small size onion
  • water
  • oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Procedures

  • In a pan saute garlic and onions until turn translucent but mine I almost burn it.
  • Second, put the slices of sponge gourd and simmer for two minutes.
  • Third, combine sardines stir, and cook for another minute.
  • Fourth, season with salt and pepper and add 4 cups of water and bring to a boil.
  • Lastly, turn off the fire and add on Miswa cover to let the heat cook for it so it won't overcook.

At this moment it is ready to serve and from that recipe, it is good for 4-5 people already.
