Hi food lovers,
- My day was quite boring today we just stayed at home knowing that there will be a storm approaching so we just make ourselves ready just in case but luckily no storm came or heavy wind and rain but the weather was just too gloomy to do something outside. But anyway I hope everybody was fine and well.
- just a little cup of coffee first to start up the cold day.
While staying at home I see a leftover jackfruit lying on the table so I decided to make a dessert to do something and to let it stay longer rather than throwing it away (this month was a jackfruit season so we gather jackfruit fruits often) as you can see from my other content days ago.
- I only use three basic ingredients to make a Jackfruit Jam.
Steps:
#1. separate its flesh from the unwanted ones especially the seeds.
#2. slice the Jackfruit meat into strips.
#3. prepare the Three Ingredients.
- jackfruit strips, 1 cup water and a 1/2 cup white sugar.
Procedures:
#1. In a preheated pan put on jackfruit strips add 1 cup water stir and let it boils to medium heat.
#2. while it boils start putting sugar and stir continuously in low heat to prevent it from burning the meat.
#3. continuous stirring until you achieve this thickness without
a visible strips.
#4. Lastly, let it cool down and put it in canisters/Tupperware and it's ready to refrigerate and you can consume it for snacks the next day.
