Today I have my lunch at Ichiriki, a Japanese restaurant located at The Garden Mall. If you come by LRT or MRT, you should be able to see this restaurant the moment you enter the Mall by the bridge.

Here are pictures inside the restaurant.

After looking at the menu, I order the Cheese Gyoza. After including the service tax, the total cost for this dish is RM20.90 per plate.

For those who don't know what Gyoza is, Gyoza is the Japanese way of calling dumpling. Normally dumplings are more related to Chinese cooking

The differences between Japanese Gyoza and Chinese dumpling are the rich garlic flavor, which is less noticeable in the Chinese dumpling, and that Japanese Gyoza wrappers tend to be thinner.

Gyoza is usually served with soy-based tare sauce seasoned with rice vinegar and/or chili oil.

Here are pictures of my Cheese Gyoza when served.
