Hello my buzzing Hive family! Hope you are all doing great and staying safe.
One delicacy which is very native to Tibet & Nepal, having scrumptious filling of veggies & meat inside the soft thin delicate layer. Also called as dumplings at most of the places, available in various fusions & variations!
Some of my favourites and tried out versions are:
CHICKEN MOMOS
Scrumptiously filled minced chicken based filling inside the thin coating of momo layer was steaming hot, fresh and flavorful. It was served with mayonnaise & Schezwan special chutney. This is the best thing to enjoy in rainy season!
BBQ SAUCE MOMOS
Tender minced chicken kheema tossed in BBQ sauce and filled up inside the thin coat of momos wrap. Juiceness of bbq sweet & spicy sauce on each bite, just comforts the snack time.
PANEER CHEESE MOMOS
How about some indian cottage cheese with mozarella cheese filling bursting out from thin momo layer steaming & piping hot!? It's a sheer foodgasm.
PERI PERI MOMOS
Peri Peri Momo's,I just loved tiny shapes of hot and spicy fried Momo's. Power packed little bundles of joy. Chicken filling was good enough and Peri Peri was much 🌶️🔥 giving the real kick. Just closely watch the pictures to notice the masala sprinkled all over.
SCHEZWAN MOMOS
Fairy red color of Schezwan Tadka over a squishy fluffy balls of Momo's gives a real kick. Schezwan sauce being highly hot and flavourful, Momo's had a scrumptious filling of chicken in it and was very thin coating to make it soft . Look at that red fiery hot🌶️🤤
FRIED MOMOS
Scrumptiously filled chicken filling inside the thin coating of momo was steaming hot, fresh and flavorful. It was deep fried and served with mayonnaise & Schezwan special chutney. Real crunch of fried version is best for those heavy rain days with a cuppa coffee!
Along with all these momo versions, at street side you also get complimentary veggies/meat broth to wash out the steaming hot fun.
