My Very Own Homemade "Corndog"☺☺☺

It's cooking time again everyone. And its gonna be my first time cooking this recipe. And Im glad that it turns out well. I have here my very own Cheap and Yummy recipe that Im surely loved by you and your family. This snack recipe is actually a popular or originated in Korea. And since here in the Philippines I think most millenials really a fan of korean actors and actresses and even korean tv shows and ofcourse the last but not the least the korean foods. And so now I am trying to make one of their popular street foods. It's not really the real one. It is something just a look and taste like.☺☺☺

I called this snack "My Very Own Homemade Corndog". I used cheap ingredients and can easily be found in our kitchen. And I know some of you here know how to cooked it but just set back there and let for the others who didnt know saw it. And maybe for those who know might react if some of my procedure are wrong. Well its because I only used what is being present in our kitchen. So are you ready? Lets get started.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 10 pcs. hotdogs (depends on you on what sizes of hotdogs your going to use and how many pieces)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 cups oil (for frying) not in included in the photo
  • 4-6 tbp. light brown sugar
  • 2 pcs. Large eggs
  • breadcrumbs
  • 3 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp. Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. ketchup
  • 2 cups water (For boiling the hotdogs)not included in the photo
  • skewer
  • 1 can 370ml Evaporated Milk

PROCEDURE:

➡(For Boiling Hotdogs)

1.Wash the hotdogs and peel the plastics and then drain. While preparing the pan with water with a medium heat.

2.Put the hotdogs one by one and let it boil for 30 mins.

3.Once your done cooking it, set it aside and let it cool for 10 mins.

4.Once it cool, get the skewer and lets skew.the hotdogs.

Now lets do the Batter

➡(For the Batter:)

1.Get the all purpose flour and put it in a mixing bowl.

2.Combined all the dry ingredients first, next the wet ingredients then mixed thoroughly.(Sugar, salt, baking powder, evaporated milk and eggs).

3.Mixed them thoroughly until the consistency look like in the photo.

4.Transfer the batter into a glass if you have and if not any container as long as it can cover all the hotdog once you dip it.

5.Then let it chill for 30 minutes. (REMEMBER: Just let it chill dont freeze)

So while the batter is on chilling time lets do and make the sauce.

➡(For the Sauce:)

1.Prepare the ketchup and Mayonnaise

2.Combined them together and mixed.

3.Your done.

And now were all set. And the chillin time for the batter is already finish. So lets "dip,dredge and fry"☺☺☺.

GENERAL PROCEDURE:

1.Get the plate and pour the breadcrumbs.

2.Dip the hotdog into the batter.

3.Dredge the covered hotdog into the breadcrumbs

4.Were ready to fry.

5.Heat a pan with oil in a low heat.

6.Once the oil is already heat up put the hotdog and let it fry until the colors turn into brown.

7.Once it turns to brown it means its already cooked. Removed it in the pan and let cool for a minute.

8.Ready to Serve

As easy as that everyone. So tasty and yummy. The taste was really good even its my first try in making it . All the ingredients are all cheap. You can try this snack at your home. This snack can be served anytime you wanted to as long as you have all the ingredients that I've mentioned. And still my secret ingredients is always their everytime I cooked. You already know my secret right? But still I want to say it over and over again.☺☺☺
