Greetings to all foodies! Lentils are a very simple dish to prepare so we can do it in different ways, in a previous post I showed you how to prepare them with pig meat, but this afternoon I have come to show you how to make them with serrano ham and vegetables so that they give us different flavor and texture.
Ingredientes-Ingredients:
500 gramos de lentejas.
¼ de jamón serrano.
2 papas y 2 zanahorias pequeñas.
Cebollín, cilantro y ajo.
1 cebolla mediana.
Sal al gusto.
Aceite para freír.
500 grams of lentils.
¼ of Serrano ham.
2 potatoes and 2 small carrots.
Chives, coriander and garlic.
1 medium onion.
Salt to taste.
Oil for frying.
Preparación-Preparation:
Start by cleaning the lentils very well and soak them for a few minutes.
Bring a pot with enough water to boil and when it boils, wash the lentils very well and add them to the pot.
Wash and peel the potatoes into small pieces, we do the same with the carrot and add to our lentils, let them soften.
When everything is soft we prepare our sauce with garlic, chives, coriander and diced onion, add a little oil.
Add the ¼ of diced serrano ham to the sauce and let the onion crystallize a little, when it is ready add the lentils, stir and let the ingredients be incorporated.
To finish we add salt to taste and cook for 5 more minutes, remove when it acquires the desired consistency and our lentils with Serrano ham and vegetables are ready.
