Cooking Chili Salty Tofu, My Recent Favorite Simple Yet Addictive Snacks

I think its rare for me to post about my own cooking, right? Its because i mostly just cook the same thing so its not fun to make a post or content about it. This is something that the first time i try to make. Its Chili Salty Tofu or Tahu Cabe Garam in our language. This started with my friend introduction tho this tahu cabe garam whenever we went out, she often ordering this . I have begun to like this too since the taste is simple yet so good. So, i was thinking that it doesnt seems like its hard to make . I should try making them on my own and then share it to my family.

Ingredients:

  • Tofu
  • Cornstarch
  • Wheat Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper Powder
  • Chili
  • Garlic
  • Red Onion
  • Leek
  • Paprika

How To Cook :

Mix the corn starch and the wheat flour together with water till it became a paste. After that, we put the tofu in there and mix them till the tofu covered with the mixed paste. But not too much tho? I prefer to have a crispy tofu in the inside so dont cover the surface of the tofu too much. Then fry them.

Take chili, red onion, garlic, leek, and paprika then cut them in tiny pieces like this. For the garlic and the red onion, you should especially cut them till its became very very small pieces.
After that, take a small amount of oil and start sauté this For a little bit so the chili is not soft yet, but dont forget to put 1 tbs of salt in there.

The last step is easy, just pour the sauce that we make on top of the tofu.
Its simple yet a very delicious and addictive snacks.
